Guest guest
He adds: " We are excited that drugs like Prozac are effective in killing these types of cancer cells, as these antidepressants are in such wide circulation and have an impressive safety record. " ** This is pharmaceutical industry propaganda. This story came out 3 months after two studies showed that drugs like Prozac (SSRIs) inhibited NK cells. This is all about damage control. Guest guest
I just read the article and wow he has so much information. I hope it's good information. He's so intense and I'm sorry.... just a little wacky. Did you see his home page? Anyway... Is it true that the T-3 is made up mostly of T-4 in the liver? Because the first thing I thought of is I have a fatty liver. Would that impair the production of T-3?

Would > that impair the production of T-3? T4 is converted to T3 by an enzyme that removes an atom of iodine. The highest concentration of that enzyme is indeed in the liver, where a large portion of the total conversion takes place. However, T4-T3 conversion should be independent of most other liver functions. Also, that enzyme is part of yet another feedback loop. If the liver does not convert enough, other peripheral organs should take up the slack. If there is insufficient conversion, it is more likely due to a problem with that feedback loop and not with just the liver. Chuck
Guest guest
I just read this really interesting article about enzymes and genetic variants. Researchers at UC Berkley are looking at " curing " these genetic variants using vitamins and minerals. They believe that the problems that these variants cause can be fixed by supplementing with vitamins and minerals that someone is deficient in. Here is the link: http://physorg.com/news131645933.html I got to it through a daily email that I get from kurzweilai.net. There are articles about the future of medicine and technology quite often. -- One can never consent to creep when one feels the impulse to soar. -Helen Keller
