Are these signs of viral die off? Sounds like it. Dana
Guest guest
I am up to taking 18 Virastop a day plus 2 Serra Gold. I am still getting sore throats on and off. I am taking 500mg of OLE a day and plan to add lysine next week (when I have a few days to feel crummy) When do I know I have reached a plateau? Then I stay at that number for 3 weeks and gradually back down to none? What dosage of OLE do I want to work up to? Same question for lysine? How long do I use these? Guest guest
> Dana, we are using Valtrex. My grandson had a slight rash that you could only see in the light because his skin was the same color but bumpy mostly on his face. Anyway at the same time we were going through that, he had more yeast and a very snotty nose. At first I suspected the nasal thing was yeast...because his tongue was white again but then the cough came and I lost my confidence and took him to the doctor. He is on azythromax now and the doctor said he heard wheezing so he is on nebulizer treatments with pulmicort and albuterol. Those two things will cause more yeast I know. I am wondering if there is a way to be sure that it is yeast and not a bacteria and how do you get yeast out of the lungs? I learned about cough=yeast because it was happening to ME, and it felt like thrush in my lungs. I swallowed a bunch of GSE and the cough was gone in 20 minutes. Asthma attacks were also caused by yeast. I felt my lungs constricting and had trouble breathing [the " elephant on the chest " feeling], I took GSE and again I was fine within about 20 minutes. Guest guest
Thanks Dana. How much GSE can he have? He takes 3 GSE capsules per day, plus 6 OoO per day, 3 garlic capsules per day, dyflucan and nystatin. All of this minus the garlic, I thought, had yeast under control until the most recent rash when yeast appeared to be worse so I added the garlic. Guest guest
> > Thanks Dana. How much GSE can he have? Depends on the child, how much yeast is present, and whether you are doing protocols that tend to increase yeast. >>He takes 3 GSE capsules per day, plus 6 OoO per day, 3 garlic capsules per day, dyflucan and nystatin. What protocols are you doing that tend to increase yeast? My son did best with a combination of GSE, ACV, biotin, and Candidase. Guest guest
He is chelating every weekend AC protacol, Valtrex 500 mg twice a day, and now is back on nebulizer treatments with pulmicort and albuterol...all of those cause yeast. I just wondered what the max is that can be given of all those things...GSE, OoO and Garlic. I don't know what ACV is and I haven't tried Candidase yet. Thanks for responding. Guest guest
With the gse, OoO and garlic...you can use how much works. But start only one of them and slowly work up the dose to a dose that is working, then hold it. Candidase is an enzyme that breaks down the coating on yeast cells so the immune system can break them down...many people find they need this with the antifungals, not alone. Some do ok with it alone. We used a similar product called Candex which did not work at all...so results will vary per kid. Now steriods which are in breathing treatments can flare up yeast....and kids who need these treatments usually have adrenal problems. (at least from what I have seen and in my own personal experiences with breathing problems) Low cortisol in the body is a problem with lungs. Cortisol is what is needed for the bronchial to dilate. Low cortisol/low adrenal function causes allergies/asthma problems. So something to consider..... I am not sure what " ACV " is as I have not heard of that. Did you mean ACE? If so, this is adrenal cortex extract which is a glandular supplement taken to help with poor adrenal function. > > He is chelating every weekend AC protacol, Valtrex 500 mg twice a day, and now is back on nebulizer treatments with pulmicort and albuterol...all of those cause yeast. Guest guest
Hi Jan! I'm so close to try ACE. My child has a few of the symptoms like: problems with transitioning, wakes up during the night, difficulty in waking u from naps and/or on mornings!, tire at times. Plus sometimes we need breathing treatments and allergies/asthma problems, even myself! I think Kenny mentioned adrenals & thyroids possible problems when checked my child's hair test [Eleazar, Alicea /files section]. Should I go by these symptoms? We haven't started Chelation yet due to many colds and sinus infections but we are almost there!. My child is 38.5 lbs, what is the start up doses for his weights? Thanks so much Jan! > > > > He is chelating every weekend AC protacol, Valtrex 500 mg twice a day, and now is back on nebulizer treatments with pulmicort and albuterol...all of those cause yeast. Guest guest
Thank you so much. This gives me another direction. You are absolutely right, he does have adrenal problems. I never made the connection. In the next email I found out ACV is Apple Cider Vinegar. I think I read that that may break down the yeast cell wall too???? ACV will alkalinize the body. Dana
