Guest guest
We just went from 450 to 600 mg. At 450 mg we started seeing some OCD behaviors and tantrums. The tantrums settled when we added some No Fenol and the OCD behaviors are tapering off. Increasing the yeast treatment might also help. I think you want to see the die-off. They its not uncommon to see the bad behsviors/die-off, but it should get better after the viruses leave his system. Hang in there. Karla > > So confused! We increased Enhansa in a big jump (300 to 600mg) and my DS has been getting red bumps, just a few at a time, in various places, and in stages. Some are itchy, some are not. One looks like early chicken pox, others like white head pimples. I called Lee-Silsby (makers of Enhansa) and they said it sounded like both yeast and viral die off. > > The behaviors we are seeing are rough...Melt downs and tantrums over nothing, OCD and obsessing over one movie or one picture, goofy and spaciness, not listening...things that had gotten so much better in the past few months. > > How do I know if this is die off, or a flare up of something? Guest guest
thanks Karla! It's so hard to keep my eye on the prize when we are having such a bad few weeks. I hope things settle down soon. This is the longest die-off he's ever had! > > > > So confused! Enhansa's anti-viral properties are stronger than its anti-fungal properties. So if you are seeing viral die off, it is likely that you are also seeing yeast overgrowth. Try adding something else for yeast control, see if that helps. Dana
