Guest guest
We use the liquid, dye-free and put it along with a myriad of other supps in either almond milk or juice, depending on what he chooses. It works well for us. Hope it works for you. If you need more sweet, you can add AH-laska gfcfsf choc. sauce and make choc. milk. nancy j From: MICHAEL B <alexander1854@...> Subject: how to get 7yr old down syndrome/autistic child to take nystatin & supplements Date: Monday, April 12, 2010, 6:36 AM  Hi, Does anyone have any good ideas how to get nystatin into a child who cannot swallow pills? How about powdered vitamins? I have a whole regimen of supplements from DAN doctor, but can't get them into my son. I have had success crushing his thyroid med and mixing it with a little cherry syrup, but I also worry about the red dye in it. Rose

Guest guest
We gave chewables and liquid vitamins where possible. The rest we mixed in applesauce, CF yogurt, pudding, or a very strong tasting juice. Peanut or another nut butter may be another option.
