Guest guest
I give my 10 yr old son Epsom salt foot baths. Let him soak while watching tv or doing homework. About 1/2 cup to a cup of salts in a foot bath or big plastic tub with very warm water. Let him soak for about 15+ mins. Also, Taurine supplement helps with the PST pathway. Helps my 7 yr old ASD son a lot (along with epsom salt baths) No-Phenol enzyme is also given whenever eating phenolic foods and he also takes TriEnza (has No-Phenol in it) with all meals. My blog has a page of info on PST/phenols: http://healingautismandadhd.wordpress.com/diet-2/phenolssalicylates/ Joanne > > Hi Everyone, > I'm new so will give a quick intro. Guest guest
Is he on gfcfsf? Also if he won't bathe in epsom salt, can you give him some oral magnesium? If he won't take pills, can you hide stuff in what he drinks: nancy j From: prairiedaysmama <prairiedays@...> Subject: epsom salts alternate ideas Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 11:12 AM  Hi Everyone, I'm new so will give a quick intro. Guest guest
My guys are showering these days. I plug the drain in the tub and at least their feet are in the water. Often they change their mind and soak. Also, make the water come out slow of the shower. Tammy epsom salts alternate ideas Hi Everyone, I'm new so will give a quick intro. Guest guest
I dissolve some epsom salts in water and mix it with lotion. After my daughter goes to sleep, I go in and rub it on her tummy, back and feet. > > Hi Everyone, > I'm new so will give a quick intro. Guest guest
To be honest, the baths are the best, mag comes in a pill but if your pathways are blocked that may not get you anywhere. Over time I think the enzymes may make him more compliant and you may be able to get the baths in the. Meanwhile the creams are the only options I know of. Soaking feet while watching fave show will help to if he will do that. They sell the cream but you said he doesn't like that either. Maybe if it was warmed a bit? I am at a loss of ideas but I will keep thinking about it
