Guest guest
I just wanted to thank everyone here for helping me get my son started on enzymes. I know I haven't started off in the most ideal way. I am giving my son the " buddy bear Digest " enzymes, which are not as strong. Per your suggestion I am giving him a little more. Houston is working on a chewable tri enza formula fyi. My son had an increase in his behaviors during the first several days, which I had learned about and expected. By the 7th day he was much more his normal self and by day 8 I noticed a significant change in his reading. I have only tested it this one day. Normally he sounds out pretty much every single simple word. He is about a level one reader and is very behind. On this day he said pretty much every word without taking the time to sound it out. I was really excited because I think this is a big jump for him. Then today day 11 I was doing some writing homework with him. Normally he writes very large somewhat deformed letters. He actually wrote using a normal size and they seemed very straight and easy for him to do. I was again so excited!!!!! I can't wait to spend more time doing school work with him to see if this is a trend. His behavior has been excellent the past 4 days. We do Feingold here, which has made a HUGE change in my son and has kept him off medication. But he is gluten free and I started noticing he wasn't doing well with corn. That's what spurred me into checking out enzymes. I hope he tollerates some gluten and corn now. I'm staying away from them as best as possible until we become more established with the enzymes. Thank you everyone for the website and your help. I am so hopeful and I'll keep you posted! Shirley
