Guest guest
I apologize in advance for the length of this update; I just wanted to be thorough. Update: I continue to do very well on LDN. I reiterate that I feel LDN has saved my life! I continue to get relief from Crohn's symptoms, before LDN I had diarrhea 10 – 20 times per day and after LDN it has reduced to about 2 – 3 time per day. My diarrhea went from " liquid w/UNdigested food " to " developed form w/liquid. " My intestinal grunts, groans, & growls have quieted and are rare. (Crohnnies out there will understand what this means...). My weight has remained the same. For the past 2 years I have had painful " constant and specific " left- sided intestinal inflammation (about 10 inches) that (after LDN) is gone. Actually, I have very little discomfort as a whole. I had only 2 " bad " dreams in the first 2 weeks on LDN (possible side effect) but they were not any worse than the dreams I've had in the past. I had so much discomfort (pain) for the past few years that I was unable to walk up stairs. After LDN I now " trot " up and down 4 flights of stairs at least 6 times a day/5 days a week (at work). There are several things I need to improve upon: Of those 23 days, I have had only 3 days which were " crohns-ish " that I attribute to poor food choices and consumption of alcohol (both of which I am working to correct). I plan to begin a Probiotic regimen soon. I would really prefer to take only 1 vitamin and researched the internet and found this one: http://products.mercola.com/probiotics/ ...but it is unclear to me at this point if it is gluten, sugar, and dairy free. Still researching this. I plan to read and follow guidelines in the book: " The New Eating Right for a Bad Gut : The Complete Nutritional Guide to Ileitis, Colitis, Crohn's Disease, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease Sold by: Amazon.com, LLC. " Thanks for your continued support!
