Guest guest
Dear Jan, I am VERY excited for you and your husband! This is great news! Detox is so important when cancer masses start to break down and be eliminated or reabsorbed into the body. Personally, we have found in our family that there have been several things that have been very helpful to us in detoxification. Chinese Kidney and Liver support have been really so valuable to us. We can really tell a major difference when we need them badly, and after taking them.... in just a matter of minutes. Also, Magnesium Chloride (we put ours in gel caps for easier injesting) helps with detoxification. Potassium Permangamate has been Very helpful to us, as has Methlene Blue. Both of these we buy in USP powder (as we do the Mag Chloride) but these we put just a teeny bit in a tincture bottle with a eye dropper, and distilled water. We then just put a few drops into some water and drink it. It doesn't take much... but does help our system to feel more oxygenated, and helps the blood to be more vital. While I realize that these are minerals, but in a chemical form, that some people may say these shouldn't be used, but these have proved themselves very helpful in breaking down tumours, and cleaning up the blood, in our family. A lot of these I found out about in an OLD " Textbook of Materia Medica of Pharmacology and Therapeutics " that I ran across in a second hand store. After posting some of this information on a alt med practitioner's list, I recieved several emails from physicians in other countries that use these in their practice. I have some articals on these posted at my site: http://www.industryinet.com/~ruby/detox_cleanse.html If you're interested in the info on the Chinese herbs for kidney and liver that I've found MOST helpful, then let me know, and I'll post on that as well. I hope you have a Chinese part of town fairly close to you... Their herbs are similar to ours in that one has to be careful, as some have better vitality than others. Some homeopathic detoxes may help him as well... but again, that is a different post. What you've been doing is really doing a great job in breaking down and not allowing more bad growth. I am very happy for you! Jen JanPM wrote: > You all know what we are going thru here - small cell lung cancer is > very quick - the chemo dr said 2-4 months if no treatment given. Guest guest
Hi Jan, This is great news!!! I don't quite remember from your previous posts, but are you using anything (coffee or chlorophyll enemas, dry brushing etc), to help your husband's body, especially his LIVER detox? I think this is paramount. Guest guest
Jan, Gubi's right about this liver detox. I just thought about this... Castor oil packs on the liver, and even on the lung area may be Very beneficial. I've personally reversed Cirosis of the liver from toxemia with Castor oil packs and liquid milk thistle drops sublingually. This can make a huge difference to your liver and organs. By the way, my brother in law had lung cancer. It had spread all over his body, and they held no hope for him. They still wanted to do surgery, remove a lung, and do chemo and radiation, but still didn't have any hope for him. It all came up so quickly... He's a Chiropractor, and practices clean living, but somehow, he got this cancer... My sister in law took him home from the hospital, rented oxygen tanks, put him in a recliner, and went to work on him with nutrition, juicing (he needed a lot of celery juice to break down a rind that had grown around one lung), essential oils, homeopathy, emotional clearing, and colonics. Within 6 months, he was back in his office, with full patient load, and well. This has been a life changing event for his wife and himself, as well as our family. There's a lot of hope to be had. Detox though is so very important. Guest guest
Trish, That was a great story to share. I know some people may throw bricks at me - but I think I have gained a lot from this disease. As miserable as it is sometimes with fluctuating enzymes accompanied by fluctuating meds, I have learned to embrace and honor some of the simple joys that I had taken for granted. I also learned who were my friends. When the word "autoimmune" would roll out, the assumption was AIDS. When I explained it, I got even bigger eyes staring at me. The greatest support was from my students who I had to leave for 6 months. I took a chair and sat in front and discussed my illness. I asked them for questions and there were some very thoughtful ones. These teenagers were certainly more open and accepting than many adults. Oh no, this was a long-winded one, which is my tendency sometime. But, to sum up, AIH has really taught me how to stop rushing and enjoy my life more. Thanks for all the kind responses about Imuran. It has helped me immensely. Sometimes when we get punched by either the meds or dear 'ol AIH, itself, we forget

Guest guest
Hey Barbara and Rhonda, I'm doing well. I took my second shot on Friday and I felt no side effects at all. I'm beginning to wonder if there is water in those syringes. I'm drinking a ton of water. I hope the whole six months goes this well. oh, my skin is very dry but we've had the heat on a little. Drink your water Rhonda! How are the sides changing for you Barbara? It sounds like you are feeling good, and I"m glad to hear it. I've got more blood tests tomorrow, and another doc visit on Tuesday. It's my four week check-up. I take my 5th shot on Monday. The sides are getting better but are changing too. It is very interesting. I feel like my own science project. I hope Rhonda and Lynn are hanging in there too. How's Dave??Barbara
Guest guest
Well...I " dig " graves 'cause I think they're neat!! What I like is to learn how to do oldtime crafts and arts. Right now I'm learning how to do nal binding which is single needle knitting from Scandanavia. It's pretty neato! Plus I've belonged to a medieval re- enactment group for over 15 years. Lots of fun. Rhonda, I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. And yes, more water will help. I've been bad lately and have not been drinking enough water and boy can I tell!! I ache, and my headaches are worse. YUCK!!! I'm getting ready right now to take my 5th shot! I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning to go over my 4 week blood work results. Everything is looking ok. My white blood counts are dropping and so are my platelets, but they are still in the normal range (at the very lowest end...but still normal....) I " ve been a little blue lately, but I thing that is my hormones. I'm only eight weeks post-op from my hysterectomy and I'm sure I " m still adjusting to the lack of hormones. Hope everyone is doing well otherwise. Hugs to you all! Barbara > Your own science project-good one!! > I had my second shot Friday and it was not good. Guest guest
Hey Lynn! My sides are changing from week to week. Last week I had a migraine. I usually have body aches and a fever everyday. Not a bad fever, only a degree or two up from normal. Just enough to make me feel a little achy. I take a couple of Tylenol and I feel better. Water really does make a difference. I'm tired, but that's ok. Also, my hip aches alot. I feel very fortunate. I " m getting ready to take my 5th shot, so we'll see what happens tomorrow!! Nothing I hope since I have a doctors appointment. I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Keep a positive attitude and the time will fly by in no time! Guest guest
Yes ma, I will drink my water-lol For your dry skin be sure to take a warm shower, not hot, and put on an non fragrant lotion like Cetaphil after you shower when your skin is still moist. Do this everytime and you will soon see a pleasant change I have been dealing with skin allergies for years and these simple steps work great to keep away any unpleasant outbreaks. I hope you continue to do so well for the rest of your treatment! Rhonda [ ] Re: hey! > Hey Barbara and Rhonda, > I'm doing well. I took my second shot on Friday and I felt no side effects at all. Guest guest
Hello All! I'm back from my doctors visit. Things are going well. My blood counts are dropping, but are still acceptable. The weird thing is that my red blood cell counts have gone up by several points. The doc wants to keep an eye on them, but doesn't seem to be concerned. I'm feeling a little blue, so an anti-depressant may be in the future. Not sure yet. I've dealt with depression before, and I really don't want to go on meds if I don't have to. Also, my iron counts are up, which is a good thing. So, I don't go back for another four weeks! YIpee!! Those co-pays can get expensive. It's been a little tough not working but spending money on medical expenses. Thank goodness for my wonderful husband who works his butt off. I get my first paycheck in a couple months this Friday and I may just have to celebrate a tad bit. I'm off to eat a bite and drink my WATER! I have only had one big glass so far today and I'm thristy. Take care everyone! Barbara > > > Your own science project-good one!! > > > I had my second shot Friday and it was not good. Guest guest
Hi, . I don't think there is such a system. And if you bought your computer after 2006 or so, then it should be very easy to shut the wireless off (there should be a simple switch on the monitor or CPU). If you use a wireless router in your home, you might want to unplug that at nite, as well, as there's no sense turning off your computer's wireless if there's a router sending out signals in your home ( & to your neighbors' homes). Love & blessings, Elysia From: thode <lizt777@...> Subject: Hey! esens Date: Wednesday, April 27, 2011, 7:59 PM Â Hi People! This is for all you techies.....Is there a system that will automatically disable the wireless in a computer when you shut it down? Or do you have to manually disable the wireless function - like when you go to bed? A friend of mine thought he had heard of such a system, but to date, the only way I know is to manually disable the wireless each night, before you go to sleep. Thanks for all your help.
