Guest guest
Just received results from Great plains on a comprehensive stool analysis showing 3+ alpha hemolytic strep. 0+ acidophillus and 0+ bifidiobacterium. after 2 yrs of probiotics enzymes diet and mor, I am upset to learn these results. We have done every probiotic out there triple the dose. From Klaire labs to Kirkmans and everyone inbetween. Is alpha hemolytic strep suppose to be in the GI tract or not? What can we do to increase these numbers. We have also done culturelle and colostrum, aloe, biotin, l glutamine and the list goes on for gut healing. Any recommendations are welcome!!! Guest guest
I have never heard of that strep, but would love to know how to deal with it if you have it. Thanks, Susi > > Just received results from Great plains on a comprehensive stool analysis showing 3+ alpha hemolytic strep. 0+ acidophillus and 0+ bifidiobacterium. after 2 yrs of probiotics enzymes diet and mor, I am upset to learn these results. > > We have done every probiotic out there triple the dose. Guest guest
I don't know if I know the answer but this is a topic of interest to me. Strep is bacteria, have you done any antibacterials oregano, olive leaf extract, garlic, or other antibacterials? > > Just received results from Great plains on a comprehensive stool analysis showing 3+ alpha hemolytic strep. 0+ acidophillus and 0+ bifidiobacterium. after 2 yrs of probiotics enzymes diet and mor, I am upset to learn these results. >

Guest guest
What are you doing in the way of diet? For some people, getting the gut flora straightened out is all about getting the right diet and getting digestion straightened out. Low stomach acid can be a big part of this. One of my favorite quotes from Breaking the Vicious Cycle by Elaine Gottschall (the SCD book) is something like this " anything that is eaten, beyond the body;s ability to digest, causes harm " . Anything starchy and white, and sugar should be avoided. Every time you eat one of these things you are throwing a party for the bad gut bugs. -Sierra > > > > Just received results from Great plains on a comprehensive stool analysis showing 3+ alpha hemolytic strep. 0+ acidophillus and 0+ bifidiobacterium. after 2 yrs of probiotics enzymes diet and mor, I am upset to learn these results. > > > > > > > > > >
