Guest guest
My dd had the same thing, based on your desciprtion. After a lot of research, and a ton of money wasted on hair and skin products, I finally determined it was demodex. Lots of disinfo about this parasite, but many believe demodex mites cause most acne, rosacea and kp, along with the yucky white crap on the scalp, hair loss and other seborrhaic (sp?) issues. My dd had the scaly elbows, kp, extreme acne and finally, the scalp problem. The best info I got was from earthclinic.com. By the time I figured it out, my dd had suffered with acne for 3 years, the scalp crap about a year, kp and crusty elbox for at least 6 years. All of these issues are resolving with appropriate anti-demodex treatment. On top of that, her teeth, which had turned very yellow several years ago are now returning to their original white shade. Good luck. Darla White guck in hair My son has white guck in his hair, if I try to scrape it, it peels off, he was scratching it and it was bleeding...Any ideas as to what I can do? If it is like cradle cap, that was a yeast issue at my house. I increased the yeast protocol and it was eliminated. Selenium also sometimes helped here. Guest guest
Ditto here, increase antifungals/increase and or rotate probiotics. Aloe Vera Gel after washing is very soothing if inflamed or itchy. > > My son has white guck in his hair, if I try to scrape it, it peels off, he was scratching it and it was bleeding...Any ideas as to what I can do? > > > If it is like cradle cap, that was a yeast issue at my house.
