Guest guest
Hi Listmates, Does anyone know what causes selenium deficiency? My son's whole blood elements test shows that his selenium level declined from 215 ug/L to 152 (ref range is 130-320) in 1 year (and the year before he also was around 200, so low but not so bad). I also notice from his WBE that Arsenic is always quite high at 3.2 ug/L (ref is <6), whilst Cadmium is 0.4 ug/L (ref <1), cobalt at 0.6 (ref is <2) and lead is 1 ug/L (ref is <3). All these toxic metals have always turn up in his WBE test which means that we are still having an ongoing inflow to his body. Where could they come from? Many thanks for any input. Guest guest
Iodine needs selenium - would look into fluoride connections, things that affect iodine needs, also. elizabeth > > Hi Listmates, > > Does anyone know what causes selenium deficiency? > > My son's whole blood elements test shows that his selenium level declined from 215 ug/L to 152 (ref range is 130-320) in 1 year (and the year before he also was around 200, so low but not so bad). > > I also notice from his WBE that Arsenic is always quite high at 3.2 ug/L (ref is <6), whilst Cadmium is 0.4 ug/L (ref <1), cobalt at 0.6 (ref is <2) and lead is 1 ug/L (ref is <3).
