Guest guest
I'm new here and very much a novice so please bear with me. My 11-year old son is HFA, I have Crohn's Disease, so I found the correlation between gastrointestinal and neurology issues very interesting. I've read Enzymes and Autism (awesome!!) and we started him on the Low-and- Slow method 8 days ago: V-Gest before meals (emptied capsule into applesauce). Nothing negative, only positive results. After 4 days, we added GlutenEase along with the V-Gest. After 2 days, nothing negative. Day 3, he started complaining of a stomach ache. Day 4, breakfast, threw up everything 10 minutes after he finished eating. So I reduced the GlutenEase to 1/2 a capsule at lunch and at dinner, no problem. This morning, I gave him a full capsule again of both V-Gest and GlutenEase...up came the entire breakfast again. I'm not seeing vomiting anywhere in lists of negative reactions. Is this typical? Try going with low doses for several weeks, then increase slowly. Dana
