Guest guest
My son goes crazy with eggs. It's like he needs/wants to bite something. He seems to stim more and is very emotional and tempermental after he eats eggs. Any ideas why? Dani

Guest guest
Eggs can be highly allergenic. I've been feeding them to my 9 year old for 7 years now and recently found out he is allergic. We took eggs away and his lifelong ezema is clearing up. You may want to remove them or have him tested for food allergies. good luck, Robyn rathmanmom <dani@...> wrote: My son goes crazy with eggs. Guest guest
Eggs are complex in terms of what may cause reactions. One issues is that eggs have lots of sulfur-bearing amino acids, so if he had trouble with sulfation issues, he may not do well with eggs. He may do very well with epsom salt baths, which can help with sulfur issues. There are lots of different proteins in eggs which can cause allergies on their own. Another aspect is that if he has any pathogen problems, eggs have some antimicrobial properties. Maybe a little die-off going on. Just wondering...does he have show any different reaction if he has egg whites versus egg yokes? .
