Guest guest
we used them at home and they were OK From: mercuryload <mm_70@...> Subject: [ ] Bio Kult probiotics Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2009, 5:30 PM Has anyone had any experience with Bio Kult probiotics? My 3 year old son is currently on Kirkman Gold but I wanted to try out anything that's better. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Guest guest
I use them for myself, but am a little wary (perhaps unreasonably so) on using them on my son as they contain a streptococcus strain, which is probably ok. I think that maybe some of the problems with probiotics is that many of our kids need a lot more than the RDA and that unfortunately it can be hard for our kids to tolerate this, but this is just my opinion. Guest guest
We use BioKult together with Lacto and GlutenEase with our 4y2m ASD son who has been on (Pre) GAPS diet for 3 weeks. That combination has converted his bowel completely ... he is finally having solid, conker-brown, regular-smelling motions. He has those motions probably once every 2 days. He no longer starins when defacating (he did so previosuly, with clear signs of pain, and producing just liquidy, foul-smelling muck). His behaviour has improved. He concentrates better and is starting to speak significantly more and in sentences. He definitely wants to engage people more. My $0.02 worth. n
