I can remember what they did. I was 28 and now 58. Maybe I should have

everything removed and see what is under. If I did, it may be hard to

have four good teeth back in fronth.

Bob

Well, the problem with having that bridge removed, is then what do you do? Its

costing me 5k to replace it. It was so illfitting that 3 of the 4 teeth it

covered had decay in them from leakage under it. I wouldn't have it removed

unless you had a good plan in place to either replace those teeth, or do

'something'. Sure not something one can rush into. I had the dental materials

testing done to make sure when they replace it permanently it will be with

something that I'm not as bothered by!

Dana,

What metals would be ok? I have read that spacers have aluminum. Isn't that

bad? My thing is that I do not want him to suffer during chelation. We will be

starting the Cutler protocol this weekend. He has a composite filling right now

but we will have to address this within the month because he may be losing it

very soon due to the break in the tooth.

filling. We are now faced with the decision to cap it or pull it and put in a

spacer when the six year molar comes out (metal also).

Spacers are generally okay. Ask what metals it contains.

terms of a cap. Do we do caps if we are chelating?

Depends on what are the ingredients. The most common problem with caps, is that

there can be amalgam underneath the cap.

From what I understand, he will have his 6 year molar grow on the outer side and

the one that we pull, will be where his 11 year old molar will grow. I suppose

we could pull it and wait until his 6 year molar grows in at which time, we may

have to put in the spacer. Not sure how it works but at least we can buy time.

I have read that stainless steel is fine.

I don't think aluminum is a good idea.

Can you have it pulled and not put in the spacer? Is this a primary or

permanent tooth?
