Guest guest
I kind of noticed good results the first month, but it seems we are just kind of at a stand still right now. Please look over my journal entry summary for the past 2 weeks and let me know if there is something I am missing, something you all think I could try increasing, or something I might need to add. We have not yet implemented a specific diet. Adult 2- Sinus infection cleared up, but fluid in ears continues constantly as before. Increased appetite and increased craving for beef. Followed by few days with fatigue. Some days slight headache and stomach ache. Felt a slight yeast infection after period. BMs mostly daily, some days multiple BMs. Couple of days there was evidence of yeasts being expelled. Began runny nose again with outdoor activities and after cleaning house. Weather is heating up 70's and 80's. Skin reaction to " green " cleaner. Felt better after washing couple of times with soap and putting organic lotion on. Missed a couple of nights of magnesium- date night, visiting mom in hospital and autism support meeting nights. Wasn't consistent with OLE, wondering if counteracting probiotics. Started consistently again in the mornings, when runny nose started. Began 1 Candex before going to sleep at night. After that began with increased urination at night and waking up with full, painful bladder. Not sure if OLE was fighting a urinary tract infection? Or can yeasts attack the bladder? Upset stomach after starting Candex. Also began to have some tightness in chest. Started to exercise, 30 minute video workout, last day of the week. Child 1 (4 1/2 yrs, ASD)- He has only napped a few times these last two weeks. Couple of days up 1-2 hours early in the morning. Couple of days behavior and stimming worse in evening because tired and unable to rest. Other days has been okay. Some days response time is getting good, in terms of answering questions. (What did you have for snack at school?) Also for following directions. Some verbal stimming on some days- screaming " for no reason " or repetitive syllables. Had stopped OLE for a while, but am trying to start again since runny noses are back with the warm weather and flowering desert trees. Has been sleeping nights, as well as naps, in underwear. Only one accident, one morning, when he went in bed before he could get up to go to the potty. BMs every other day or more often. Epsom baths 2-4 times a week. Wanting to help with some household chores, tried to help mop this last week. Is pedaling and steering tricycle well now on flat or downhill surfaces. Can stand on scooter with one foot and take small steps to push with the other. Had a couple of " flight or fight " situations. Once at school when his OT changed his room around, he had problems with the light sensor. Another day his brother turned on the fan that used to spark and trip the breaker, but doesn't anymore. Some days he is now hugging me when I pick him up from school, he used to ignore me or kind of slap at me with both hands on my stomach. He is giving and asking for more hugs and kisses throughout the day. Have only been doing brushing and joint compressions 2-4 times lately. Without him napping, he throws off my routine. OT wants him to continue with 4 daily and to begin the spinning protocol for vestibular system 2 times a day for 4 weeks. Child 2 (3 yrs, SPD)- Is now pretty fairly well potty trained (after only 1 month in underwear). Has some fear of the big toilet, but is getting over it. Has gone on own to restroom, pulled down underwear and gone on own. He says when he has to go. Has gone standing up a couple of times now. Using pullups for nap and nighttime, but they are always dry now. I have noticed that he does not drink enough throughout the day, does not urinate often, some days only twice. He no longer has BMs that alternate between small hard balls and unformed, but are now between unformed and good texture. One day he had a very large BM, not usual for him and then no more hard balls. He has larger BMs now than before these two weeks, but now misses a day here and there. Naps are down to usually 1 hour a day. Some days 2 and one day he didn't nap at all. He goes to bed between 9 and 11. One of us has to be with him until he falls asleep (so does his brother, so it only helps when both parents are home at bedtime.) Worked some on tricycle skills, can pedal one rotation, but not steer at the same time. Is beginning to have a hard time on swings. Only tolerating a few low swings. Use to be his favorite. Tried to help me mop. Increased fear of washing hair. Used to whine when we washed hair with water going in face (did this way since a baby so they'd be use to water in the face.) Now we have organic (non- no-tears) and they have to put head back to rinse. He's having a hard time with head in this position and when getting water in his eyes. One day I noticed him running in circles by himself, he was singing as well, so might have been " dancing " and not stimming. ?? Also began giving kisses, then nipping us at end. One day kissed my arm, then licked it. ?? Some periods of hitting with toys, throwing things, smiling with scoldings, deliberately doing what told not to do and crying easily, but nowhere near the way he was before starting biomed. Noticed some days he has had lots of high phenol foods, but does not show any redness on ears or face. As a baby, used to have redness around anus. Maybe he does not have phenol issues like his brother and I do. Adult2 1 OLE (500mg) 2 Trienza before each meal 2 Probiotics after each meal (24 billion units daily- lactobacilli acidophilus/rhamnosus/bulgaricus, bifidobacterium longum/bifidum/faecium, streptococcus thermophius, colostrums, FOS) Multi-vitamin with iron (TwinLabs) Vitamin C (1650 mg total - 150 in multi, 1000 at lunch, 500 at dinner.) Biotin (5000mcg at dinner, 300mcg in multi= 5300mcg total) Natural Calm- magnesium citrate (2 tsp, approx. 430? Mg- 2/3 of 650 and extremely small amount in multi 7.2) Children 1-2 Trienza before each meal 2 Probiotics after each meal (6 billion units daily- lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidobacterium lactis, lactobacillus salivarius) Multi-vitamin (3 Gummy bears) Vitamin C (250mg at lunch, 30 with multi= 280mg total) Biotin (1200 mcg at dinner and 70 in multi= 1270 total) Natural Calm- magnesium citrate (1 tsp, approx. 215mg- 1/3 of 650 and only 8mg in multi)
Guest guest
> Adult 2- Sinus infection cleared up, but fluid in ears continues > constantly as before. This was usually yeast overgrowth, altho at times was mitochondrial dysfunction. >>Began 1 Candex before > going to sleep at night. After that began with increased urination at > night and waking up with full, painful bladder. This sounds like yeast overgrowth is being somewhat addressed by the Candex. >> Not sure if OLE was > fighting a urinary tract infection? OLE will increase yeast, because it works on viruses, and viral die off causes a lot of yeast.. >> Or can yeasts attack the bladder? Yes > Child 1 (4 1/2 yrs, ASD)- He has only napped a few times these last > two weeks. Couple of days up 1-2 hours early in the morning. At my house, spinning and vestibular issues meant yeast overgrowth in the ears. Dana
