Guest guest
Lana, I feel your pain, we too have been thru the ringer and it always seemed we were missing something, and we recently did the full blown food allergy tests to get to the bottom of it. And we found out that our daugher along with Gluten, DAriy, Dyes, had a major allergy to Egg, corn and peanuts as well.--In less than one week, we have seen a huge change in her behavior, dark circles, stomach distension etc. Also we have done the yeast protocal, and has black walnut hull drops for parasites around full moon and new moon, but mostly full when we she was having major sleep disturbances, behavior issues, hypoglycemia bouts, and temp problems. That helped clear the those issues at full moon. But mostly we saw a big change with teh help of NCD started with 3 drops twice daily and added 1 drop per week up to 8 drops twice a day. For heeavy metal secretion, the first week her BM's smelled like pure sulpher, so we knew it was working. But until that time, everytime we turned around it just seemed like everyday was crap shoot. She seemed to get more wired, screaming fits, up all night, dangerous behavior. But since the definate allergy tests on the food, WOW what a change removing the egg as well. NOt sure what all tests you had done, but just a thought for you if you hadnt. We had our DAN prescribe a kit to Metametrix, and they do a 90 panel of food allergies that was very precise. It has opened our eyes big time. Best wishes and hope this could be of some help, God Bless, --Oh yea, my daughter is 5, 40 pounds... jen Frustrated . . . Guest guest
Just my opinion, but I would cut out everything except the Nordic Vitamin, and lower the Vitamin C by half. I would also stop the Diflucan and start a probiotic called Threelac. My daughter had all sorts of yeast symptoms and our DAN gave us Diflucan, and we saw nothing. However, someone suggested Threelac to me, and my daughter has lost all of those symptoms. You have to start slowly and work up, but I swear that of all the dozens of things we have done, it made the biggest difference.Alos, when you give an antibiotic, you have to have a probiotic to replace the good bacteria that the antibiotic kills. If you don't, then the yeast will grow out of control. Hope that helps.--Tod > > Hello, > > I have been a member of this board for several months lurking around > and learning from your expertise. Guest guest
Speaking for myself, when my yeast begins to get out of control, I also have much more frequent urination plus a bit of incontinence. It sounds like the Diflucan is not working on the yeast. iiriam From: tod_s_2000@... Date: Fri, 27 Feb 2009 19:04:31 +0000 Subject: Re: Frustrated . . . Try increasing the yeast protocol. Most of these are yeast overgrowth symptoms. > In mid January, we reluctantly put him on an antibiotic for an ear > infection. At my house, most ear infections were caused by yeast overgrowth. However, even if your child's ear infection was related to bad bacteria, giving an antibiotic would have seriously increased any existing yeast overgrowth issue. > He thought we should have seen some positive changes by now with the > Diflucan. I used OLE as antibiotic, altho it also eliminates viruses, and viral die off causes a lot of yeast. OoO will address both yeast and bacteria, so I would start with that. > frequent urination at the appointment and he gave us a handout on > oxylates. If you suspect high oxalates, give B6 and magnesium. The B6 will tend to increase yeast, so best to get that under control first. Guest guest
One suggestion anytime your kid is sick or has ear infection - put drops of Wally's ear oil or puncture a garlic capsule and drip one in each ear. We used to end up at the docs once a month during winter - haven't gone once this time and we've had several ear infections healed this way within 2 days. Also, has he been checked for PANDAS? > > > > > > Hello, > > > > > > I have been a member of this board for several months lurking > around > > > and learning from your expertise.
