Guest guest
Thank you all for that information. I will stop with the Soy milk as of now. So does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative to it? Hemp or almond milk maybe? My son doesn't like the vanilla flavoring so I was giving him the Organic Soy in Original flavor. Any advice is much appreciated-THANKS!!!
Guest guest
We have tried and like Vance's Dari free, chocolate and original, Rice Dream Enriched, Almond Breeze. I have tried others and didn't like them. The Rice Dream is the most affordable and available at my Wal-Mart. It has a mild skim milk like flavor. The Winn-Dixie(south eastern chain) has just started carrying the Almond Breeze and it is my new favorite(rich and creamy like whole milk, but has a stronger flavor-although it is pleasant), but it is a bit more expensive. For straight drinking I like the Almond Breeze the best. The Vance's is powder so I keep it on hand for emergencies and for making dishes that call for evaporated or condensed milk. The Chocolate flavor is very tasty and I give it to kids that visit us(not on the gfcfsf diet) and they don't know the difference and ask for more. -Undiagnosed Asperger's Syndrome Stay at home mom to 3, Wife to -6-6-02-Autism Spectrum, the light of my life Katy-11-19-03-undiagnosed genetic syndrome that includes cleft palate-Pierre Robin Sequence, scoliosis, heart defects, short stature, low muscle tone, developmental delay, oral defensiveness, g tube fed part time-working on oral feeding, slightly dysmorphic features, and my joy J.D-no issues except he is totally in love with mommy, cutest baby in the world visit my blog http://busiestmommyinamerica.blogspot.com " If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart! Guest guest
We swear by Vance's Darifree (potato based). I would buy a cannister and if you like it buy the 25 lb box. its expensive but this one box has lasted us 6 months already and I'd say we have several months left in there.
