Guest guest
Hi a, Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your question but the book Enzyme and Autism has a section on " poop " , color ect and possible issues related. The Enzyme Stuff web-site may be helpful as well. However, I would love to know what Pro-Biotic your son is using? Thanks, Dani > > Sorry, I have a poop question. This might be a function of what he eats. Does he eat a lot of rice? That can do it. Improper fat digestion can also do it. >>He's on really great > probiotics, too which is why I decreased the enzymes. Maybe we should go > back to them. Was it darker when you were using more enzymes? Dana

Guest guest
It may not be an allergy, but a digestive issue. If it's coming out undigested, it's a problem food for your child. IMO. Guest guest
When it comes to corn it goes way beyond allergy issues!! Please do some research on it!! First google corn/micotoxins and also corn/genetically modified/grown etc. It is very hard to avoid corn products it is in sooooo many foods(ingredients are even hidden on the corn type/forms), but we can avoid the obvious. Other countries have actually refused import of our corn because of the genetic modifications!! This sooo stinks that our country does this kind of stuff for the $$$$, I sooo loved corn on the cob and miss it!! Jennie<>< Heleni & Nick Babalis <chomedeysaints@...> wrote: Sorry to chime in but... Guest guest
Thanks for the response. Micki, loves corn and beans. She has always loved beans. So far she has been taking the enzymes for just over three weeks. She has been a little more calm. She still does her pacing, but she has been sitting for longer periods of time. If fact she laid down on the couch yesterday and was playing with one of her toys for about 15 minutes. We are going to give the enzymes for another couple weeks and then probably do a Candida cleanse. We don't have any money for a DAN! doctor so we are doing this on our own (along with help from kind people like you). Thanks again On Mon, May 12, 2008 at 4:53 PM, <preemiemom0703@...> wrote: > Hi , > > For us, undigested corn is totally normal. Guest guest
I'm not a GI expert, but my first thought would be problems with initial stomach acidity, which I suspect are common with Autism. Stomach acid at the duodenum has to have a Ph of 2 or below. If not, then undesirable microbes that come along with the food will not be killed off. That's obviously a big problem. The other issue is the hormones secretin and cholecystokinin are impaired. Secretin directs the stomach to stop and in turn for the liver to kick in with bile as well as signal to the intestines to produce bile for protection. It also tells the pancreas to produce bicarb to then neutralise the acid that arrives from the stomach. The Ph at the pancreas then needs to be more neutral for the pancreatic enzymes to do their job. And the pancreas needs cholecystokinin to signal it to produce the enzymes. So there is a real chain of events that are regulated by initial stomach acidity. ronnimike wrote: > > What does it mean when pills come out in the poop without change? Guest guest
The pills didn't dissolve, and that is not a news flash. There is info floating about all the time in the natural health community about how vitamin and supplement pills often just pass through. One of the remedies often stated is to try to find your pills in a capsule with either liquid or powder inside, not just hard aspirin type pills. I've not always been able to do this, but try to follow the rule. I can't say what specifically may have happened with your situation if the person hadn't had this problem in the past with the same pills. I hope you find a way to get some absorption. Guest guest
Hi Ronni, This is only anecdotal, but I think we have been seeing good results giving freshly squeezed organic lemon juice with every meal. It should help with the initial stomach acidity and digestion and then once it is metabolised it helps with the body's ph. We started this some time ago, and we were mostly doing it for ph. Almost the day after we saw a jump in appetite that has never gone back down. It was so hard to get my daughter to eat before this. (I do wonder if that was because of heartburn that she could not communicate to us?.... but that is speculation obviously) Also keep in mind Andy warns of NOT taking lemon juice if you have a recent mercury exposure. Other options that are meant to help with stomach acidity are things like cabbage juice or sauerkraut. ronnimike wrote: > > That is interesting as he is complaining of heartburn...I wander if > starting up quench the fire.....by life extensions which contains > orange peel....would do the trick....do you have any advice. > > Thanks > Ronni > > > > > > > > What does it mean when pills come out in the poop without change? Guest guest
September 2004 Blaylock Wellness Report: " Also, do not use lemon in your tea, since it will increase aluminum absorption enormously. " This was interesting too, found here: http://tinyurl.com/5ks978 " The composition of the food eaten in conjunction with drinking water that contains aluminum has a strong effect on the absorption of aluminum. In rats given aluminum in water in combination with lemon juice, orange juice, coffee or wine, aluminum absorption increased by 1800%, 1700%, 250% and 188%, respectively.56,69 In the case of the lemon and orange juices, this increase was probably due to the formation of non-ionized aluminum citrate, which is expected to readily cross the gastrointestinal barrier.70 In fact, in the human diet, citric acid may be the most important factor determining the absorption of aluminum. Several studies have found that the presence of citrate in food or beverages significantly increases the absorption of aluminum from dietary sources,51,71 - 73 although Gardner and Gunn32 did not observe a significant increase in aluminum excretion in human volunteers who had ingested aluminum-spiked orange juice compared with spiked water, and Jouhanneau et al.74 reported no change in the intestinal absorption of aluminum from a normal diet in rats in the presence of citrate.
