Glowing red ears

Hi.

My son had ice cream at school today (vanilla, supposedly all natural from a

local dairy) along with three tri-enza enzymes. When he get home, his ears

were glowing red, like Rudolph's nose! So I gave him two no fenol and two

Zyme prime. A few hours late, he threw up.

1. It's been a while since he's ears reacted like that. Any ideas why?

2. Do you think I over did it with the enzymes and that's why he threw up?

Thanks.

It definitely sounds like he does not tolerate this ice cream, even

with enzymes.

Hi,

My son gets red ears any time he has a food intolerance. Most often

it is anything artificial, or if he gets someting high in oxalates or

fenols. I havn't had any luck adding these foods back in with

enzymes yet. You could try giving him the possible ingredients of

the ice cream one at a time and see which one he reacts to.

Good Luck,

vitamin a palmitate, commonly added to non-full-fat milk, can cause a phenol

reaction such as red ears/nose. even if the ingredients don't list it, if a

dairy uses lowfat or nonfat milk, it can be one of the ingredients of the

ingredients - if that makes senses - so its not always listed on the label. my

dd (4), reacts strongly to vitamin a palmitate - hyper behavior, meltdowns,

overly emotional, dark circles under the eyes - the way she reacts to certain

other high phenol foods. vanillin is a flavoring that might be added and might

also cause a phenol reaction. in milk, could be lots of things, even the

natural ingredients. I can make her a plain vanilla shake from organic ice

cream at home, with no reaction, if i use full fat ice cream snd milk, no

vitamin a palmitate, hidden in low-fat milk ingredient.
