Guest guest
Dear Friends, Below this post is a letter my younger sister recently sent to me. She is contemplating fertility treatments to improve her chances of having a child with her new husband. Do any of you know of any particular dangers or risk factors associated with any of the following medications? Are there other treatments she should consider? Keep in mind that she has fibrocystic breast disease and fears concerning breast cancer due to some family history (an aunt and great grandmother who both died of the disease). Thanks for your help. Monty Knight --------------------------------------------- Here's the list of fertility-related drugs...I wouldn't necessarily be taking all of these. Clomid/Serophene Lupron (suppresses ovaries) Pergonal, Repronex, Fertinex, Gonal-F, Follistim (brand names for " Gonadoropins " for stimulation of multiple eggs) Progesterone (for hormone replacement and/or implantation support) Medrol/Vibramycin (?) Let me know what you find out....also the hormone dr.? thanks so much, love your little sis. __________________________________________________
