Guest guest
Hi all, I'm getting ready to place an order, I've spent several days researching the posts here, there's so much great advice but I'm a bit overwhelmed too. My son (almost 8) is ADD/dyslexic really has difficulties with academics/focus, good language but speech delayed, he's also a toe walker, more so on the left, delayed motor skills. He's a former micro preemie but not sure if the add/dyslexia has anything to do with his issues now as his dad also has this. He's currently on fish oil (has helped with hyperactivity), magnesium 200mg (also helps & for constipation) & multivitamin. I started him on an enzyme by enzymatic therapy, Gluten Defense about a week 1/2 ago but I believe it's causing constipation so I stopped that yesterday. He's had huge, painful bm's every few days, he used to be regular. One thing about the enzymes, he had some white, wart like bumps on the outside of his elbows for several months, they would get itchy sometimes and after taking the enzymes they're clearing up. A few more things, he suffers from athletes foot, he's not on a special diet but we try to moderate sugar intake and eat natural foods. He loves simple carbs & chocolate and is a bit of a picky eater. Aside from that he doesn't really have any other outward symptoms but I'm wondering if it's worth a shot to try him on candidase and virastop to see if it helps his attention problems. I received the samples from Alessandra and started him on them yesterday but at a very low dose, haven't noticed any difference but maybe too low dose and too soon. Also started him on mag citrate 200mg twice daily to try to get bowel movements going again. I read in some older posts about kudzu root helping with die off symptoms and was thinking of trying that too. any thoughts? I just really don't know where to start, I want to keep trying to help him, we've tried different things in the past but the only thing that seems to have helped a bit so far is the fish oil & mag, but his attention is really bad and it's affecting him terribly at school. I would also like to try the enzymes for myself to see if I notice any difference - you never know! My husband who has type 1 diabetes has been taking one at dinner each night and he thinks it may be helping to keep his blood sugar levels down. Guess I'm just confused, how do I know if he has yeast or viral problems? Sorry this is so long, thanks for any help and advice you all can give me. Try increasing the yeast protocol http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm > Aside from that he doesn't really have any other outward symptoms but I'm wondering if it's worth a shot to try him on candidase and virastop to see if it helps his attention problems. The Candidase should help control the yeast. Virastop increases yeast, because viral die off tends to increase yeast. Try just giving the Candidase for a week or so. > Guess I'm just confused, how do I know if he has yeast or viral problems?
