Guest guest
What is PRX? Dana and Garrett, just turned 4, SCD 2 years Celiac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia, sensory processing disorder From: melindafaith2005 & lt;melindafaith2005@... & gt; Subject: Re: Do I need to restart PRX/enzymes to help with viruses? Date: Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 1:49 PM Thanks, Since he has not had any wetting accidents for several months I am going to stick with the vitamin c (ascorbic acid) that I recently added in. It is buffered and so far I am only giving 250mg three times a day. Earlier, I was concerned that the Vitamin C might have been irritating when he had the UTI so I discontinued it. His UTI lasted about 20 months and was pretty miserable, not wanting to return to all of those wetting accidents. Warts have been gone for awhile but I will go back to 1000mg a day. Not sure if OLE or PRX is going to continue to be required. Still not sure why the PRX, OLE and O of O was starting to cause pain. Bowel's have been doing very good without much antifungal support for awhile. I don't want to stop before we are done but I don't understand the tummy hurt. I am not seeing any signs of concerns with the exception of volume control. Brain yeast? I am constantly asking him to talk softer. I would think that by five years he would not be so loud. It is hard to tell what is typical but I am definately getting tired of asking him to not be so loud. His brain is thinking faster than he can talk. He is constantly asking questions and is a very excited little boy. We did a DDL hair analysis three years ago. He had high arsenic and mineral transport derangement. He had a bad reaction to both DMPS and DMSA. I would like to think that with reducing his viral load that he is excreting some of the metals. I have heard that you can't get to all of the viruses unless the metals are out. Even tho he is a bright NT five year old I am taking a deep breath and am considering ALA. Maybe ALA will go more smoothly since we have decreased the viral load first? Since it has been three years since his last hair analysis maybe we should start there? Am I on the right track? I'll keep you posted. Melinda & gt; & gt; 4 yr. old NT on anti-virals & gt; & gt; Worked our way up to & gt; & gt; 2 500mg OLE three times a day & gt; & gt; 3 PRX three times a day & gt; & gt; 2 500mg Lysine once a day & gt; & gt; & gt; These are conservative doses for an anti-viral protocol. It would & gt; have caused a LOT of yeast here. & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; Stopped Vit C due to presumed irritation of severe prolonged UTI. & gt; & gt; (FYI: PRX made the most difference with this issue) & gt; & gt; & gt; Vitamin C was required as part of my son's protocol. Once the UTI is & gt; under control, you might consider trying different forms of vitamin C. & gt; And it did require carnitine for proper absorption here. & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; I recently stopped anti-virals and now he is complaining of a cold & gt; & gt; (nose driving him nuts still) and is sleeping more and kinda cranky. & gt; & gt; & gt; This happened with my son when I removed anti-virals, because until he & gt; was fully loaded with vitamin C [for cold/flu viruses] and lysine [for & gt; herpes viruses], if I removed the anti-virals, new viruses just went & gt; right back into his brain. & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt;The only left to add back in is the & gt; & gt; PRX. Should I add the PRX back in? & gt; & gt; & gt; You can if you want, or not. After my son was finished with OLE and & gt; Virastop, he still needed over a year of vitamin C and lysine. & gt; & gt; Dana & gt;
Guest guest
The professional grade of ViraStop under the label of Theramedix which is sold in a lot of doctors offices. http://www.theramedix.net/index.php Other examples GlutenEase from Enzymedica is labeled as GCF Candidase from Enzymedica would be labeled as CDX If I remember correctly the GCF and CDX are the exact same ingredients as the GlutenEase and Candidase. The PRX I know is much stronger. We have switched to the Theramedix brand because it is more cost effective. > & gt; & gt; 4 yr. old NT on anti-virals > & gt; & gt; Worked our way up to > & gt; & gt; 2 500mg OLE three times a day > & gt; & gt; 3 PRX three times a day > & gt; & gt; 2 500mg Lysine once a day > & gt; > & gt; > & gt; These are conservative doses for an anti-viral protocol.
