>>It helped a great deal but a few days ago he had cereal and he was impossible.

Has anybody seen this with their children, any connection between milk and this

behavior?

Yes.

Remove all milk from your house. If he eats outside the home and may possibly

drink milk, use an appropriate digestive enzyme.

yes, casein..gluten...soy sensitivity can all cause aggression.  This is a sign

that you need to take them completely off of it.  Add calcium magnesium to

their diets to make up for the loss of the casein.

I am gradually getting all 3 of my children off milk. My youngest who is

ASD has been off it for about 7 months now. My 6 year old son who is ODD loves

milk but I have been able to replace milk with Kefir but lately he asks for

cereal and I have noticed that each time he eats cereal with milk, he gets very

argumentative and impossible. This behavior was so bad around February this

year. I took out sugar from his diet and worked hard on eating only organic

foods. It helped a great deal but a few days ago he had cereal and he was

impossible. Has anybody seen this with their children, any connection between

milk and this behavior?

Yes. Our kids frequently have problems digesting casein. Quite a few are

gluten, casein and soy free. They can all cause problems.

Oh, yes! It helps to explain it to them even though in a milk meltdown they

probably won't get it while they are in the midst of it. I have one who really

needs to be off milk but sometimes will get it at school against my wishes. To

this day I say " I'm pointing out that you had ice cream 20 minutes ago and now

your behavior is really bad -- notice how your body feels right now. " She is

learning. Sometimes there are no good substitutes and you just have to find new

things, unfortunately.

More potent enzymes might be another solution. We use digest gold.

Thank you all so much. I knew there

was a reason for my son's behavior.
