My son has recently started with the visual stims. He's obsessing over CDs (shiny side - back and forth in front of his face). And he's looking out of the side of his eyes at us a lot. Turns his head to the side and looks out the corners in order to look forward. He's on Biocidin (twice a day), zinc (at night), glycine & lithium (micro dose) (morning), GSE (5 drops, 3 times daily), enzymes (with food), probiotics, poppy/skullcap/licorice extract (3 times per day), GABA (morning and bedtime), and melatonin (bedtime). - who'd be broke from DAN! doc visits if not for you all! For some kids, vitamin A deficiency. Try adding biotin, and/or increase GSE. Also, GABA can be highly energizing for some kids, so I would try removing that, especially the bedtime dose. GABA is energizing?! Bloody hell, it was supposed to be calming. *sigh* Okay, can cut that. Eesh. Thanks for the help!

Guest guest
> The viruses should be wiped by now, but maybe not. B and A I can do. It took me four years of high dose vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, and lysine to eliminate viruses for my son. What have you used and for how long? > With biotin, don't I need a liver support too? I didn't. >>GABA is energizing?! Bloody hell, it was supposed to be calming. It is one of those things that is usually energizing, but for some kids causes a calming effect. Sort of like caffeine and B vitamins, usually energizing, sometimes has the opposite effect. Dana
Guest guest
Dana, Did you ever test your son's vitamin A level,or you simply watched for the toxicity reactions? Thanks, sasmita > > The viruses should be wiped by now, but maybe not. Guest guest
Dana, Â I need another source of protein for my son. Â You mentioned Jay Robb whey protein earlier. would this be a good addition for someone that is sensitive to gluten or would the egg white protein be a better option. Neither has gluten or casein but the allergen part of the label does say processed in plant where they are. Â D. Guest guest
> Dana, > My son is doing a lot of this lately. Exactly what and how much did you do for this? For my son, this was caused by yeast overgrowth, viruses in the brain, and deficiency of several B vitamins. Once I eliminated those issues, the problem went away. For some kids, it is caused by vitamin A deficiency, so you can start there if you want. Dana

My son noticeably improved when I gave him Jay Robb Whey Protein Powder. It really depends on your child. You can try it and see how your child reacts. If you are very concerned about possible casein content, you can give it with an appropriate enzyme, see if that helps. Dana
