Hi Dana,

Could you kindly elaborate more on this strep strain thing ?

Besides the green poop, nothing else noted on my kid. No fever, no sore

throat nothing...

If it is strep strain, what are the bad effects ? What are the bad

reactions to strep strains ?

the green poop should have been a one to 2 day event. it's usually caused by a

" bile dump " for lack of a better word. if it is still going on he needs to see

a doctor as he might have a " stone caught in the duct " is it a dark green, or

fluorescent green? this happened to me when I started on the stuff you are

taking. hth, linda rn

Some kids are " strep " kids. They have a strep issue, altho not

usually in the throat. It is usually in the blood or in other areas

of the body besides the throat.

The term " strep " refers to the shape of the bacteria. There are

several different bacteria that have that shape, some of them bad and

some of them good. However, for strep kids, their bodies apparently

see all strep bacteria as bad, even if they are the good strains.

For some kids, they will have a flair of their strep issue. Other

kids develop PANDAS, which is a strep issue, usually seen as increased

OCD and other problems.
