Guest guest
My son has been on the GFCf diet for about 4 years. He just turned 6 years old. He has battled yeast issues, he has colitis, gastritis, and I'm sure there could be bacterial and viral. We see Dr. Usman and we tried doing the strep protocol about a month ago. We had him on antibiotics for 1 month, it seemed to help his OCD issues for about 2 weeks and then he began getting worse. We thought it was probably yeast so we had him on diflucan just short of 1 month. His behavior became so bad that we stopped that. We have completey stopped the protocal for a few weeks and he is so different. His ocd is horrible, he wants to control everything we do, his cheeks have been very red, he is hyper, can't focus and is acting very strange. He is laughing a lot and keeps mentioning one of his aides names from school. It's like he is obsessed with her to. He also has been having this horrible scream when he doesn't get his way. He has never been like this before. I hope we can get him back to how he was a few months ago. We began all of these things due to his OCD. That seems to be his biggest problem. His strep titers were a bit elevated so it was thoughy that he may have PANDAS. We are very concerned at what we have caused to happen in his little body. We found a dietician that we are going to consult with to see how I can improve his diet, which I hope helps. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be going on. thanks. Once the OLE no longer helped my son, I had to switch to vitamin C and lysine to eliminate the balance of the viruses. And biotin for yeast. >>He is laughing a lot and keeps mentioning one > of his aides names from school. Try increasing the yeast protocol, including adding [or increasing] biotin. >>His strep > titers were a bit elevated so it was thoughy that he may have > PANDAS. I eliminated strep at my house with OLE, but I did have to go to vitamin C and lysine once the OLE was finished. > We are very concerned at what we have caused to happen in his little > body. The red cheeks can indicate a food issue, especially phenols http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm Dana
