Guest guest
Jeni you have some interesting points. I am very tempted to try it, even if just for 1 month, but I'm just not sure. I hate spending money I dont have, but I really like trying new supplements or medicines that have any chance of helping. It would end up costing about 140 a month after tax and shipping. Thats a huge amount for me. anyone else have any opinions on stemehance? Robin StemEnhance I just have a few concerns about this stuff that I want to voice loudly before anyone gets taken for too much money. First I want to say that my intention is not to attack anyone personally. We are all entitled to our beliefs. Sometimes if we believe that something has power to help us then it does help because of the psychosomatic effect. Now.... I was thinking about how great this sounded until I decided to do a little more research. I found the testimonials from the 3 " doctors " first. I did some searching for them and oddly I can't find a single article that they've published in any medical journal. The ONLY information I can find about them is related to stemenhance. That doesn't have the ring of a credible scientist to me. Secondly, their patented polysaccharide blend (migratose) - that is SUGAR people! Polysaccharide literally means many sugars. I suppose if you toss some sugars together in a way that they aren't typically found in nature you can trademark it and call it whatever you want. The fact is that no matter what form the sugar goes into your body, the body converts EVERYTHING to glucose. That is the one form of sugar that the brain uses for energy. So, you can take the " migratose " and your body is going to convert it to glucose anyway. Sounds like it would be much cheaper than $40/month to eat a snickers ;0) Hugs all! Guest guest
I really don't mean to be a negative , but my Momma taught me that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is ;0) I've been a skeptic ever since *LOL* Not that I've ever put much stock into what any one doctor tells me, but if the product were THAT great, doctors who are well respected and published would be lining up to endorse it. When NONE of the doctors who have written testimonials can be found in a medical journal I just have to doubt their credibility. I also don't like sky-high promises and claims of cures. When they said that the product inhibits uncontrolled abnormal cell division I can only assume that what they are talking about is cancer (which is literally rapid and uncontrolled cell division and reproduction). For them to claim that SUGAR will help prevent cancer is absurd. If sugar prevented cancer there would be no such thing as childhood cancers. The upside is that if they ever prove that sugar really is the cure-all, my kids will be THRILLED ;0) Seriously, if you feel that you can afford the product then it certainly wouldn't hurt to try it. I'd probably dig around a bit and talk to people who are NOT distributors and maybe read some of the stories of people who have been taken for a ride and spent hundreds of dollars just to see NO benefit in the end. They say that it can take something like 6 months to REALLY see the full benefit. If that's the case and it's going to cost about $140/ month, then you could spend $840 before you ever know if it's going to work for you or not. Once a person has spent that much money chances are that they are going to convince themselves that there really are benefits and they haven't wasted almost $1000. I think I'll drop that $1000 into a special needs trust or a fully accessible bathroom for my girl. Sugar isn't going to cure her SMA, but there are things that can make her life rock even more than it already does ;0) Love and Hugs Jeni StemEnhance I just have a few concerns about this stuff that I want to voice loudly before anyone gets taken for too much money. Guest guest
I would run this by a trusted doctor - or, a specialist with SMA to get their " inside " take. Personally, I would check with any of the Project Cure doctors (see www.projectcuresma.org for a listing of investigators), a local MDA clinic doc, or your personal family doctor or neurologist before spending $140 a month on anything (a huge amount of money for anyone). If you google stemenhance, you can find endless search results - some sponsored by stemtech (the apparent makers of stemenhance) - and some others warning against use of stemenhance. As a " dietary supplement " - I don't believe it is subject to rules and guidelines (and safety assurances) of the FDA. After obtaining opinions of known or trusted individuals who don't stand to benefit financially from you purchasing the product, I would still tread extremely carefully...Mitch StemEnhance I just have a few concerns about this stuff that I want to voice loudly before anyone gets taken for too much money. Guest guest
noticed some of the people on this board have tried this product. I would like an update from anyone who has been on it for awhile. We are using it to rebuild cartilage and a few other things. I have not tried it on my daughter yet; butwould like to -I noticed it has some similar stuff as NO-Fenol so was wondering if what is in No-Fenol helps also to stimulate adult stem cells to go to work on problem areas? any info would be appreciated. I too do not like the whole MLM approach. WEould rather it be more progressive and have it as a co-op,
