Guest guest
My ds wipes his spit on his shirts. This is something that started when we first introduced chewable Houston enzymes February 1st. So we switched to the capsules which we mix into pear juice and the spitting stopped. But in the last month or so it is back. Some mornings it is so bad that he needs to change his shirt before going to school. He has social challenges as it is...this just makes that worse. Any ideas of what could be causing this now? He has been on prescription anti-fungals (first Nystatin, then Diflucan and now Nystatin again) for a total of 4 months now. I think his yeast his still an issue though...it was incredibly high to begin with. So I don't know if it's yeast-related or what. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks, in Illinois

I don't know if this will help, but at my house my son would play with his saliva when he needed carnitine. Zinc deficiency can also cause this.
