Guest guest
I chew and bite when my head hurts, and when I have tension in my head, jaw and neck muscles and joints, and when I feel anxious. 5HTP helps with all the above.(Going to get my 5htp, which I forgot this morning.) The pain and tension is relieved somewhat by the chewing, I don't know why. Sometimes I place my thumbs between my jaw teeth and bite down until I can't take it any more. Sometimes I will eat through bags of those hard chips, just because it makes things a little easier to cope with. I used to eat ice, but then I got my filling changed to plastic, and I'm afraid I'll break them. I suppose I should find something healthier to chew on, but when I feel like that, I grab whatever is at hand. Maybe you could offer your child a teething ring. I may get myself one, too. HTH A piece of my heart to all the children... -- Warmest Regards, Robin Little What is chewing usually caused by? My 6 year old has been chewing through everything clothes, blankets. He is also biting his hand. Besides digestive enzymes, he is taking FLAGIL (antibiotic for GI bacteria) and FLUCONASOLE. Please help.
