Guest guest
My 5 year old grandson is having some elimination issues. He went to a GI doctor who did an x-ray. Said that he had some " hard " stuff in the sigmoid region. Suggested 1 adult enema and 1 child's enema. She also wants him to take an antibiotic like Flagyl to put the " good bacteria " back in his bowel. What can you guys suggest that would not be as traumatic as an enema? I suggested giving him some magnesium oxide. Don't you think that antibiotic will kill off the good bacteria instead of putting it back in? I have never heard of an antibiotic not killing off the good bacteria. Thanks Deb
