Guest guest
Hi Judy, Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I forgot to mention I was going on a mini, I NEED TO GET AWAY, I AM TOO STRESSED OUT, VACATION. Just got back and am beat. But am going through some of my mail now. You sound like you've got as many disaters and waiting periods as myself. The first time I went on treatment, I was the one who pushed for it. If I had not of, I don't think that silly doctor would of ever put me on treatment. Now they are talking about the peg. But the combo frightened me so bad that I am afraid of trying the peg. I have to go to the hematologist on Monday and get a second opion AGAIN, on my liver in July. I just am so afraid of those treatments now after going through it 3 times. I wish I could wake up one day and this would all be a dream. I know they have many treatments in the works that have not been approved yet. I just don't like all the side effects. I think I am in bad shape now, until I go on treatment. They say something triggers Fibromyalgia. Do you think that it could possibly be Hepatitis that did it for us? I think I have decided before I go on any other treatments, I may have another biopsy done first. I know everyone is different on treatment. Some don't have that hard of a time and some do. I think that the liver will have to frighten me enough to go back on treatment again. And they can't tell me that without a biopsy. Hugs! Good Luck and Pray that your treatment is easier and heals you. Guest guest
Judy, No, not with iron. I was also told by every doctor to stay away from Iron and Alcohol. But I know some people get anemia from treatment. And I do not know what they give them for that. That is also in regards to Liz message. Guest guest
It is my understanding that many doctors give Procrit or similar med for Chemo associated anemia. I'd be very careful taking iron. My liver specialist forbids me to take iron of any form eventhough I am anemic. He says if it gets worse he will treat me with the appropriate meds. Huggers, Deb Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sin. Proverbs 10:12 RE: Dana > Judy, > No, not with iron. I was also told by every doctor to > stay away from Iron and Alcohol. Guest guest
Dana..I think when their red blood cells go too low..they are given something like procritin (ms) or epogen.it's a med that helps to build more red blood cells. The iron stays in the liver and builds up to toxic levels.. I'm glad you got away for a mini vacation..I kind of over did things yesterday and had a terrible night and today I've felt like I've been run over by a big truck. I really don't feel like writing tonight.so I'll talk at you later..hugs..judy

Guest guest
Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone else out there is using Microhydrin? I have some and I am skeptical. Please if anyone is using it I would appreciate your feedback. There are so many people out there to make a buck and I just cant afford to spend money for nothing. I mean I dont feel any different from taking it for almost a month. I think my energy levels are increasing because of the B12 I am taking. Guest guest
Hey Judy, I know what you mean. I was on the road all day yesturday after wandering around Cedar Point for 2 days. My Sweetie loves roller coasters. I have not ridden them since I was a kid. He insist on me living again. I have been in such a rut for a long time. And my daughter has done a 360 again with being Bipolar. They had to up her meds. I just can't get into her mind and know what she must be going through. It was bad enough with all the emotions of being a teenager. I wouuld never want to do that again. But being Bipolar on top of it. Her mind just has to be in such a terrible state. I wish she would go to therapy or find some kind of hobby that she is really interested in. Hey, did you notice with the Fibromyalgia that you feel like a mac truck ran over you? I have to take med for pain and sleep at nite. Then when I wake up, I am stiff and have so much pain running through my body, I have to stretch and message it out. My doctor says I must run a marothon in my sleep my legs and feet have so much pain in them. And I just don't have the energy I had before. Hugs, Hope you feel better!! Guest guest
Judy, I'm sorry, I am a little confused. What type of Doctor are you seeing for this treatment? The nurse at every office I went to for treatment had my first kit in the office and showed me the first time. Actually, the first time she watched me at the office to make sure I did it right. What fun. If they do that, make sure you go home right away. She told me 3-4 hours before it would take effect so I stopped at the store on the way home. I started filling it in the store and by the time I was on the highway coming home, I had to pull over three times. I kept blacking out and having hot flashes. So be careful. Best of luck! Hope treatment goes well. Hugs Dana --- Judy Mckee <tmckee@...> wrote: > Good morning Dana, How are you doing today? I'm > still waiting, haven't heard > from my doctor yet. Guest guest
I went to a gastroenterologist for the hep c but he is only the consultant. He is sending all information and such to my primary doctor to take care of and then I will only see him for emergencies or the biopsies. The consultant (gastroenterologist) is to send a representative to teach things to my primary doctor and me. This is what I'm waiting on now. Today I'm nauseated and vomiting and so tired..will talk more another time..hugs.judy Re: Dana Judy, I'm sorry, I am a little confused. What type of Doctor are you seeing for this treatment? Guest guest
guys, thanks I verified my medication and I took procrit for 4 weeks (another injection) and then I have been taken Hematron-AF which contains Elemental iron (as Carbonyl Iron) 150 mg and other vitamins and minerals including folic acid for the anemia. My hemoglobin has gone down to 9 and then went up to 13 now is back down to 11. Isn't this a rollercoaster.
