Guest guest
My daughter was able to make eye contact with enzymes - day 3. She also experienced auditory integration improvement. Within 5 months, her weight regulated (she was about 10lbs overweight for her height) and all her sugar cravings disappeared. She caught up with her peers - she hadn't grown an inch in several years prior. All headaches and stomachaches disappeared as soon as she started enzyme therapy. That's our experience. We've used primarily Houston for her main enzymes (Trienza), but have also had good results with the Kirkman's and Enzymedica product lines. Oh, I also had resolution of many symptoms by using the same enzymes. You should definitely try them yourself. You don't need a script here in the US, but I don't know if there is trouble getting them sent to Aus. Good luck, Darla [sPAM] new member-reply pls Hi all I am a new member and this is my first post.I am a mom of 7 yr old autistic child, living in australia. He has almost all the autistic symptoms like very poor eye contact, very very short attention span, delayed language and social skills, behavioral problems like giggling without any reason, self talking, verbal stimming...... & the list goes on..... He is already taking garlic,OLE,co Q 10,ginkgo biloba, multivitamines, cod liver oil.But frankly speaking i didnt see any change in him reg his autistic symptoms.i dont have any DAN doctor. After reading many posts of many parents i also want to give a try to enzymes.I have some questions to ask, here i go- 1) Can i start an enzyme by myself (if no side effeccts)? 2) What should i start with? so that he gains some weight (as he he super thin) and ofcourse his autistic symptoms are also reduced if not completely eliminated. 3) Have you seen any improvement in your child with enzymes? 4) Is there anyone on this board from australia, who can tell me where can i purchase enzymes from? 5) Can i buy them without prescription? Please write to me your experiences about enzymes(positive, negative whatever).sorry to ask so many questions. looking forward to see your replies guys thanx parul Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! Guest guest
Hi Parul, There's another group you might want to join - GFCFKids. They do a lot of biomedical and diet interventions, as well. We've been using Acetyl L-Carnitine for growth and my son's feet actually grew an entire size!! We use Digest Gold enzymes from Enzymedica. They have other enzymes that might work better for you depending on what your objective is. I just wanted a general one. They have a great customer service help line and they can help you figure out what you need. Also, I believe iHerb.com ships to Australia. HTH! Guest guest
>4) Is there anyone on this board from australia, who can tell me where can i purchase enzymes from? Hi Parul I'm in Brisbane. Depends what enzymes you want to try - Biogest by Thorne are available at some Health Food stores and pharmacies, but they're a " Practitioner Only " line so you'll need to say that a Health Professional suggested them. The Houston and Enzymedica brands you can purchase on-line. Sometimes there is a drama with them coming through Customs and sometimes there isn't. Email me privately if you like
Guest guest
Well, my son is not on the spectrum per se, but does have sensory proccessing disorder. We're on this biomedical path to heal his gut. I can't remember the exact difference between Acetyl L-Carnitine and L-Carnitine. They ARE the same supplement, but the Acetyl has been altered. Our DAN! has us taking 1000mg Acetyl in the morning and 1000mg L-carnitine in the evening. Primarily, we have seen growth but I know we did see some language improvement after adding the evening L-carnitine.
