It's never too late

I truly feel it is never too late. My 2 year old was recently

diagnosed and immediately started with diet and supplements and have

seen progress.

After all the research I've been doing for my son, so many of pieces

in our family puzzle are coming together. I'm still in shock and

floored by what I've learned concerning diet, supplements and the

whole biomedical prevention kaboodle.

My brother is 40 years old. He's been through so much since he was a

child. He has a diagnosis of autism and schizophrenia and has been on

antipsychotic medicine since adolescence. My mother has always talked

about my brother's stomach problems. As a child he suffered greatly

from allergies and used to get shots for them. My mother suffers from

fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, lactose intolerance. I have had

persistent problems with those last two.

I'm sharing the information I've learned with my mother so that she,

at 72, can improve her health and so that my poor brother, at 40, may

have an opportunity for a better quality of life. I'm sure one of the

myriad of interventions may help even a little. I will also start some

supplements and a change of diet to feel better.

As heartbreaking and difficult as this has been for my husband and me,

I feel that the knowledge I've gained is going to turn into something

very positive for those I love.

I want to thank all who are constantly on the forums giving their time

and sharing their knowledge. It is truly lifegiving.

I'd like to give Dana a special thanks for her online journal and her

willingness to also give of her time and open up her life and share so

much.
