Guest guest
There's also one in Plano on Park near the toll road. I believe they have several others in the Dallas area as well (you can locate a store on their website.) Gaylen
Guest guest
I would think that much of Vitamin Shoppe's products are as good as any. For example I know a few of their products are made by the originals. Kyolic makes the Aged Garlic for them and Spectrum makes a High Lignan Flax Oil for Vitamin Shoppe labeled products which, of course, are a couple of dollars less costly than the name brand. The same could then be said for Swansons I imagine though I have not observed the two products in their line. As much business as I suspect Vitamin Shoppe does, they can afford to use high quality products. They not only do a lot of on-line business, they have a lot of stores around. I have four within 40 miles of me. As many of us know, most vitamins are made by only a few companies and sell in bulk to other companies that then package them. I cannot imagine there are too many making Ascorbic Acid, B-12 etc., can you ? Joe C.

I used quite a lot of their nutrients but have wondered if they are what they claim to be? I have heard that many of the Vitamin Shoppe things are not really good quality. Personally, I think anyone taking supplements should be using whole food supplements. The body is meant to absorb our nutrients through food, not chemicals. Foods are absorbed better than chemicals and processed better than chemicals. Numerous studies show that, and show that the efficacy of said supplements is better. We also know that there is an entire process used by the body when absorbing nutrients. Popping a chemical vitamin, with synthetic binders and fillers just doesn't do the job. Is it more than one person? Are there reports you have read? Has someone actually tested the products? Thanks,
Guest guest
Hello Moms, Is it okay to buy supplements from stores like Vitamin Shoppe? Yesterday I picked Vitamin Shoppe brand Carnitine and now I am wondering if I did the right thing. It says soy free, dairy free, yeast free, etc. Thanks, Maya
