Guest guest
Out 10 year old son has run through a variety of behaviors; chewing on fingers, chewing on mattress pads, then shirts - all of which went away with L-Carnitine, then went to holding his ears, which went away with increased yeast protocol, then went to some aggresive (for him) moves of defiance and foot stomping, which went away with increased OoO and OLE. (We also had spitting, playing with spit, and swooshing water in his mouth and spitting it out - also went away with an even greater yeast protocol). Our newest behavior I cannot figure out what to combat it with. He is obsessed, much more so than he was with the other behaviors. He is putting his fingers on the top of my shirt collar right at my neck. He probably does it to me about 20 to 30 times every waking hour. If I am not around, he goes for his sisters, classmates, etc.. He's been in an ABA class for years and they usually can re-direct these behaviors quickly, at least at school, so he can attend to his learning. THIS behavior is thus far eluding all attempts at extinguishing it. DANA - anyone - any ideas what imbalance or lack of nutrition is causing this latest obsessive behavior. It has been almost three weeks and everything I have tried has not made a dent. THANKS for any advice!
