Guest guest
Hi Dana, First, Nattokinase is formulated to break down fibrin, a clotting protein that forms in the blood after trauma or injury and as a result of viruses, fungi and toxins in the blood. It also may help to treat cardiovascular issues, circulation issues, high blood pressure and slow tissue repair. It's measured in Fibrinolytic units (FU). Serrapeptase (or Serratiopeptidase or serapeptase) is formulated for anti-inflammatory. It's a relativly new enzyme and does not have an abbreviation, it's measured in Serratiopeptidase Units (SU), it will simply say " 10,000 units " on the bottle. Lumbrokinase is an enzyme derived from earthworms Lumbricus rubellus. Research has shown that lumbrokinase may support healthy coagulation of blood within normal levels and enhance fibrinolytic activity, i.e. similar to nattokinase. http://www.allergyresearchgroup.com/Mar-2009-Focus-Newsletter-sp-87.html They also had a product sheet for lumbrokinase that had good information that might be helpful as well. For inflammation, I would recommend a product like SerraGold by Enzymedica. It has 100K units of Serratiopeptidase and is one of the most potent formulas available for this. It also contains Enzymedica's unique Thera-blending in it's Protease. It is formulated to speed the recovery time of the inflamed tissues by thinning the fluids and increasing their drainage. I hope this all helps! I know it seems like a lot, but hopefully it's beneficial to ya. Feel free to ask me any other questions, I don't mind. Guest guest
Thank you so much! My guys have viral issues as well as inflammation. Can I give both Natto and Serrapeptidase together to help with both issues? How much of each and how many times per day for a 35 pound child? Guest guest
Hi Dana, No problem! You can give them both of those if you like, always start off with a low and slow dosage. Let their bodies build up to a regular amount. Even starting off with as little as 1/4 of a capsule twice a day would be ok and then do this for a few days and increase the dosage a little... and so on. This will give their bodies time to adjust and catch up. For the SerraGold product I spoke about before, this would be taken daily before bed or when they get up. If it doesn't adjust well with their stomach they could take it when they eat too. And the same could be applied to Natto, depending on the product they take. I'm specifically firmiliar with Natto-K from Enzymedica, but there are several enzymes out there with Nattokinase in them, they just won't have the Thera-blend I spoke of before in it like Enzymedica's. Keep me up to date with how your family is doing, I like to hear if any help is needed or any updates too. Guest guest
Even the fermented soy in nattokinase caused my daughter problems. > > >> > > >> > > >> I am trying to find the best enzyme to help with inflammation and clean the junk/sludge out. Guest guest
If your child has issues with phenols be careful of natto and repair/repair gold. My son never had phenol issues until we started repair gold. > >> > >> > >> I am trying to find the best enzyme to help with inflammation and clean the junk/sludge out. Guest guest
This is great information. I was wondering if any of this products could cause bruising or act as blood thinners. I'm looking for an anti-inflammatory that wouldn't cause effects. Thanks. > > > > > > I am trying to find the best enzyme to help with inflammation and clean the junk/sludge out.
