Guest guest
I had posted a few messages about dealing with viral and yeast issues. I was doing just fine and then all of a sudden I was hit with a terrible flu-like viral infection. I had a slight fever, severe headache, chills, and extreme fatigue. I didn't have any vomiting, but i was very nauseous. Now my headache is horrible. It is in the sinus cavity and the pressure is making my teeth hurt. I am also not constipated any more, and the stools are loose and they don't smell so great. They are " sick smelling " if that makes sense. I woke up in the middle of the night with a hot flash, but this morning I had very loose stools and I felt chilly and very cold. My tinnitus has been in super high pitch mode lately. I am extremely edgy to noises and I am so irritable I want to scream. I haven't been sleeping well at night. This morning I woke up very early in the morning, and I was extremely angry. I feel like I have the worst PMS and I just want to sleep but I am so edgy and irritable that I can't calm down enough to rest. I feel very restless. Am I fighting something new, or just getting over the old junk? Should I change my protocol? I am finding it hard to think right now. This all started when I began taking the probiotics in large quantities. Can good bacteria create symptoms of bad bacteria if it is taken large doses? This is what I am taking: Colostrum and l-lysine 18mg. iron Vitamin c (Ester C) fish oil coq10 GSE-2-3 drops probiotic 2mg. melatonin My blood work showed that my white count has gone down again. I have been battling a low white count for over two years and I have a hard time fighting off infections. Right now I need to know what type of infection I am dealing with, so that I can take the appropriate medication. My doctor prescribed me with Bactrim or Erithromycin(I get to choose which one I want to take) and Diflucan for fungus. Should I take the antibiotic for the 10 days, and then follow with the diflucan and probiotics? Should I just assume it's fungal and treat it with the Diflucan? Do I forget all of the doctors scripts and take OLE? I have heard that Diflucan can leave you with a bad case of Candida Krusei and I am so nervous. I do not want to deal with something else right now. I thought of taking the antibiotics, then the diflucan, and probiotics. Now I am not sure because of what I read about the diflucan allowing Candida Krusei to grow freely. What should I do??? Thank you so much for listening, paula
