Guest guest
Would that be possible? I suspected pinworms due to my son's symptoms (anus itching, grinding teeth, insatiable appetite, worse at full moon, etc.). I never saw any pinworms or eggs, but then- I was not willing to wake him up more than once in the night when he already doesn't sleep). I got the doctor to call us in Vermox. So, I gave it to him Saturday at lunch and the info on the medicine says it will kill pinworms in 2-3 days, so that would be today. He had a bad episode of anal itching this morning (I didn't see anything there). I also don't know if anything was in his poop bc he still has undigested food in there. I didn't see anything moving around. He has been moody all day and interestingly, he WILL NOT stop eating! I have never seen him like this. He usually gets a lot of food at meals, bc he seems to want more and more. But, today he is fussing for food every hour! (I have noticed he isn't teeth grinding- YAY!) So, I wondered if this could be a die off reaction. Anyone, experience any die off symptoms when treating for pinworms? Thanks!

We went ahead and treated the whole family but it didn't really improve for him. They do say that you have to be hypervigilant about reinfestation, wash everything, constant hand washing and change sheets and bed clothes carefully. I think my son just had yeast that time and we have struggled on and off, but when he starts scratching too much I increase his yeast regimen and that usually ends it. I also think you are supposed to treat again in a few weeks for the eggs. You could also add raw pumpkin seeds in to his diet as they are a natural parasite soaker. Guest guest
Licorice is said to get rid of worms. Garlic is a good parasite killer!
