If your friend is willing to drive to Houston, you should advise

her that Andy Wakefield and Dr. Arthur Krigsman will be available soon over

there. They are two of the best gastro guys that I know.

Does anyone have a list of DAN doctors that are in Georgia? I need to call

and see if any of them take PeachCare. (I was told by another mother to

call and see as she found one in her state that does take it.) I would

greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Dr. Nathason-Lippitt has a cancellation list. You should put your name

on the list. We were told there was a year or so wait, but due to her

prices she tends to have several cancellations. We actually got in

within 3 months of being placed on the list. We have seen her for 5

years now.

we also see her and it took about 5 months. I would definitely get on the waiting list because

she does have openings. We have seen her for past three years and my son has made tremendous

progress w/biomed tx.

I would emphasize to the doctor's office that my child was only 17 mos old...that is an important key..early bio medical intervention. I can also connect you will moms of children dx'd and treated early that are totally recovered. These moms are a great resource and willing to help.

I totally agree!! We began therapies & treatments with my daughter

when she was between 16 & 18 months old. In the beginning it seemed

we were able to get in to see Drs. more quickly because of her age &

the fact that she had a twin. I think those two factors made her a

more " interesting " patient in regards to research. When she was

first diagnosed she was classic Autism. A year & a half ago the

diagnosis was changed to HFA. Today she blends right in with all the

other 6 year olds. I think the only thing that may make her stand

out a little bit is she's a little bit less mature than most girls

her age & sometimes she struggles with her speech (getting all the

words out smoothly). She's doing well in school & has a lot of

typical friends. I'm so very proud of all the progress she's made so

far.

We took tour of emory walden. It looks like a very nice program. But

the problem is they don't follow GFCF diet and they don't accept

outside snacks except lunch. Which makes it hard to follow GFCF. Is

GFCF a must with BioMedical treatment?

Thanks
