Guest guest
Hi, Our daughter has had a habit recently of making the most negative mental association she can with things. Example: my husband and I discussing visiting a zoo with someone and she overhears and says don't talk about zoos, that reminds me of when that mandrill scared me (yes, a loud shocking occurrence but she's been to zoos multiple times before & amp; after that incident). Another example: helium balloons in a bowling alley set up for an event (we've been in this situation several times recently) and today she says it reminds me of when I freed that balloon and immediately wanted it back. There have been other episodes but these 2 come to mind as the most recent. Has anyone else seen anything like this and how did you handle it? It's driving my husband and me nutso. Thanks. -- Sent from my Palm Pixi
