I think that it may have been a reaction to something I ate. I have a

nasty mold allergy and I think I ate something to set it off.

What anti-yeast treatments do you recommend???

You must be having such a hard time. I'm so sorry your going through this.

My kids responded really well to ThreeLac. We started out really slow with one

packet and

after two weeks we went to two packets. In a month we were at three packets,

but you

could probebly go to five. There was some die off at first, but it was

tolerable. It really

made a huge difference in my kids. By two months my son had made dramatic

improvements. My daughter also made improvements but not as dramatic. They

are ages

two and three.

Some people have had problems with ThreeLac but my kids really did well on it.

My husband also had a yeast issue and he took Candidase enzymes The next day he

began

to feel better. He didn't really have any die off, but his symptoms weren't as

bad as yours.

You can also try Biotin. We started it about three days ago, and it's already

made a huge

difference in my sons skin and it's helping with the yeast. My daughter felt

icky yesterday

and today she is a lot more focused and in a great mood.

GSE has really worked for us in the past also.

It's a slow process and you might get worse before you get better. If you do

get worse at

first then your probably doing something right.

Pick a treatment, start slow, and keep going. If it gets too bad, lower the

dose but don't

stop. If you use ThreeLac, drink lots of water and make sure you take some

fiber to help

clean out the dead yeast.

Yeast has been a constant battle for my house.

Good luck to you. I really hope this helps.

I needed to add a few more symptoms:

really small red pimples randomly over body

ear pain

eye pain and burning sensation

frequent urination (feels as if I haven't completely voided. Sorry for

the terms)

I hope you aren't getting sick of my posts. I just need to know if I

am creating yeast, or if I am killing it.

Yeast overgrowth can cause this, so can die off. So can drinking

milk, or a few other foods.

Sound sensitivity was caused by yeast overgrowth here.

> My eyes really hurt too. Would this have anything to do with yeast?

It can, or bad bacteria, or a few other things.

Yeast overgrowth or die off

Yeast overgrowth

> eye pain and burning sensation

Yeast overgrowth or die off, certain virus issues.

Yeast overgrowth or die off, UTI [bad bacteria]

If you try oil of oregano, it can address both yeast and bad bacteria.

****I am not familiar with Theralac. Did you mean 3 packets per week?

Why didn't other people do well on Theralac? What were the issues

they were having? What improvments did you see with your children?

****How many Candidase did he take? If I tried it at night, maybe I

could deal with side effects

****What kind of difference did you see in your son's skin? How do

you know it is helping with the yeast? Forgive all of my questions.

****Thank you so much . It is so difficult going through this

as an adult. I somnetimes wish I had my Mom there to help me. I

guess that's why I depend so heavily on this group. I appreciate all

of your help. I think yeast will be my biggest battle as well.

Not sure about Theralac, but Threelac contains strep strains. There

are " good " strep strains, and " bad " strep strains of bacteria. For

kids with " bad strep " issues, even the good strep strains tend to

cause problems. So if you tend toward strep issues, stay away from

Threelac.

Hi a,

The product is ThreeLac. It's a probiotic that actually eats the

yeast. It's very effective. When we started it about a year ago, my

so was biting himself, agressive, screaming, tantruming, he had

really bad posture, he couldn't walk upright, and no verbal

communication. I read Jennie McCarthie's book and she used ThreeLac

on her son to eventually get rid of all the yeast. Here is a web

sight that can tell you more.

www.candidafree.net

It was gradual improvement, but he began to walk better, he stopped

biting, he wasn't agressive and he began to say some words.

After that, we started diet and other stuff. For my kids, yeast has

been the biggest problems.

We also discovered that oxolates are a big problem. If he has an

infraction, he tantrums about everything. His sensory system is

extreme, and he feels terrible.

My daughter was extremely sound sensitive and the yeast really helped

her feel better.

My husband took two Candidease a day at night, but the bottle

recommends two capsules three times a day. When he started taking

vitamin B6 his symptoms came back and he had to take the enzymes

again. I think he needs to take them more often and not just when

the symptoms get really bad.

My son had red spots on his cheecks and really scaley skin. The

biotin cleared up the red spots, and his skin wasn't as rough and

dry.

In my family, if we arn't always treating yeast agressively, it comes

back with a vengence. We were taking ThreeLac and doing well, but

our DAN recommended Nystatin, and my mistake was stoping the ThreeLac

to take the Nystatin. The kids did okay for a week but then they

regressed. I didn't see it right away because it was gradual but

they didn't make any improvements for a few months. Then it took

another month just to get them back to where they were before.

I really hope this information helps you.

Good Luck,
