Guest guest
Becca, I read " Enzymes for Autism and other Neurological Conditions " by DeFelice. I have actually read this book about eight times. I refer to it sporatically when I cannot explain my son's behavior. It is the book that truly turned us on to the biomedical approach. Hope this helps. ________________________________ From: Becca Gater <becca.gater@...> Sent: Monday, July 20, 2009 12:59:29 PM Subject: Re: Yeast Protocol I am curious which of 's book you were reading in reference to yeast? Guest guest
Becca, If you have the book, read page 207, it talks about yeast. When you get the chance, you might want to read the entire book. It does a great job at explaining what is going on with our little ones. ________________________________ From: Becca Gater <becca.gater@...> Sent: Monday, July 20, 2009 1:20:57 PM Subject: Re: Yeast Protocol I have (and shamefully have only read parts of) Go with Your Gut... Guest guest
Hey Becca, Also on pages 168 - 173 there's a lot of yeast information as far as fighting it and what to take and so on. Also you can always go to her website, www.enzymestuff.com. This may be easier for you because you can just type in whatever specific thing you're searching for. I love that website there's so much information on it, it's really helpful. I was told this was also susceptible to GSE. So, I am hoping the GSE is a good thing for us. I also gave some afp pep. because it is supposed to help with bacteria and die-off. Is this true? > > > I don't know. > > Dana >Dana, how do I move forward and give more GSE? right now he gets one drop with the no-fenol and afp after school. He also gets IGG 2000 after school. Then I give no-fenol before bed with probiotics. I also give Igg 2000 DF. Is this a good product for immune system to help with yeast and bacteria? I was told to put him on it by naturopath Dr.. Have you heard any good results with this? I usually give it after school too. My son, still has hands down pants, gets moody if he doesn't eat, or if he just has his watered down juice with nothing else at the same time. He is eating a lot. Pinches people when doesn't want to do something or we say no. Gets sleepy early (this usually happens after a round of antibiotics- so I assumed it was yeast related). Waves hand in front of eyes. He gets a little whiney. Also, bright light bothers him. Stools loose to formed with funny fermented smell. But, they are a little darker so I assume it is yeast and bacteria coming out. He is carb crazy. Wants GF pretzels all the time and potato chips. Do these still all sound like yeast issues? We just don't know what to give or send to school that he will eat so we send the potato chips and pretzels but, the pretzels have yeast in them this is a bad thing isn't it? He seems a little better on the no-fenol GSE- I guess my question is how to know what to increase it too and how to know when to stop? I know that's a hard question. I just want to do a protocol of no-fenol and GSE for a little bit then get stool rechecked. Should I go up to 2 drops? I did 2 drops the other day by accident and nothing bad happened- stools still mostly the same. Behavior okay. Also about the activated charcoal- I want to give it 45 minutes after the Igg 2000, no-fenol, GSE, AFP PEP., but as soon as he has this combo he wants to eat. Can I give it to him after he eats a snack? and if so how long after? I figure he is having die off and that is why he wants to eat right away. Also should I wait the 45 minutes after the Igg 2000? Is the 45 minutes usually the gold standard for the timing of giving the activated charcoal? Probiotics are usually given morning and night. Do you have a better scheduling idea for fitting these supplements in? EX: probiotics in am with Igg 2000 1 1/4 tsp after school Igg 2000 with 1 cap no-fenol, 1/2 afp pep, 1 drop GSE Then he has a snack immediately Then when should activated charcoal be given? Then after dinner usually has probiotics Then 1 no-fenol cap at bedtime (I read this helps with the yeast on this post- is this true?) Thanks Dana, If you have any scheduling or dosing suggestions they are greatly appreciated because I kind of feel alone in this. My husband isn't so sure about all the supplements and I don't blame him. Because sometimes it is hard to see good outcome from them. But usually yeast treatment does show some better behavior. You are a great help. Thanks again, Wanda

I keep reading that it is not recommended, but the reasons listed seem to be the taste and the spice. If my son can tolerate the spice, what is the concern? It tastes really bad. I use gelcaps, so there is no taste. You can also put the liquid onto the skin of the feet. I have not read that you should not give it to young children. > Also, what is the dose and length of treatment for oregano? Start low dose, like 1-3 drops or 1 gelcap. Use it until the yeast/ bacteria is gone. Dana
Guest guest
Hi All, What's the best natural antiyeast? Which is more potent, Candex or Candisol Again, GSE seems to increase gas here, any support to that? Thanks, Sasmita
Guest guest
We increase probiotics until there is no more gas and then keep that level. We are just starting brainchild yeast protocol so i can't comment on that part of your question. Yeast Protocol Hi All, What's the best natural antiyeast? Other ideas here http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm > Again, GSE seems to increase gas here, any support to that? If it helps with the yeast, try giving it with No-Fenol enzyme. Guest guest
HI All, I give 1 NO-Fenol, 5 drops GSE, 2 caps Tri-Enza with food , is that OK? I give GSE this way 3 times a day, so in total 15 drops/day. My question is Should I separate GSE+1 No-Fenol and give them between meals??? Is it important to give 1 Trienza with GSE? Guest guest
> I give 1 NO-Fenol, 5 drops GSE, 2 caps Tri-Enza with food , is that OK? Depends. Does it work? If you want the No-Fenol enzyme to address the phenol content of the GSE, you need to give it with the GSE. If you want the No-Fenol enzyme to help break down the yeast, you need to give it on an empty stomach. Dana
Guest guest
Dana, Would you know why enzymes for yeast and i've tried them all, cause nausea, stomach pain and headaches. Other enzymes don't have this effect. I'm trying to understand if it's die off or an intolerance. I've been using diiflucan and nystatin so I figured yeast might be under control. Thanks. Guest guest
Dana, I thought No-Fenol is for breaking down Phenol content in GSE. And GSE is for yeast reduction. So if I give No-Fenol+GSE in empty somach it will work on yeast better as opposed to food. Thanks, sasmita > > I give 1 NO-Fenol, 5 drops GSE, 2 caps Tri-Enza with food , is that OK? > > > Depends. When I first started addressing yeast for myself, I had to really hit it hard. If I just took enzymes or probiotics, I had major problems. But if I took a lot of GSE, it was fine. Sometimes it is the opposite, and hitting it hard causes problems but going slower is best. Which enzymes have you tried? Dana
