Guest guest
> Dana, > I thought No-Fenol is for breaking down Phenol content in GSE. Yes, it can do that. If you give No-Fenol on an empty stomach, it will help digest the yeast cell wall, making your anti-fungal more productive. > And GSE is for yeast reduction. Yes > So if I give No-Fenol+GSE in empty somach it will work on yeast better as opposed to food. Yes, altho GSE is very bitter and potent, so giving GSE on an empty stomach can cause stomachache/heartburn. So start slowly if you want to do that, only give one drop, see if that works well without problems. Dana
Guest guest
We've had to be very careful with enzymes at my house. My kids get really naseaous and bad belly aches. Here's a link to a great enzymes site that somebody showed me. It talks about the low and slow method of trying enzymes http://www.enzymestuff.com/basicsdosing.htm#
Guest guest
I've tried candex, candidase and a bioset candida formula. i've used virastop for about a year on and off with no problem, so I don't get it. I've only used 1 capsule at a time. Re: Yeast Protocol > Dana, > Would you know why enzymes for yeast and i've tried them all, cause nausea, stomach pain and headaches. Other enzymes don't have this effect. I'm trying to understand if it's die off or an intolerance. I've been using diiflucan and nystatin so I figured yeast might be under control. Thanks. When I first started addressing yeast for myself, I had to really hit it hard. If I just took enzymes or probiotics, I had major problems. But if I took a lot of GSE, it was fine. Sometimes it is the opposite, and hitting it hard causes problems but going slower is best. Which enzymes have you tried? Dana
Guest guest
I've been breaking the capsules open and putting 1/4 capsule per drink once a day. Tomorrow I start twice a day. After 4 days with no tummy trouble I'll move up to half capsule twice daily. Oh, I'm using digest Gold and it's a really strong enzyme...that's why I'm going so slowly. I've had them use it for diet mess ups using the entire capsule and they were fine. When I did it every day though they got pretty sick. So annoying, I feel your frustration
Guest guest
Thank you all for your help. I guess I'm going to need to go low and slow and see how I feel. I've only used 1 capsule at a time. I think that my problem was that when I was doing something " mild " for yeast, it caused the yeast to try to migrate to other areas of my body before leaving. But when I hit the yeast hard, it just left. Eventually I was able to use Candidase for yeast, but not at the beginning. [Virastop increased yeast here, because viral die off caused a lot of yeast overgrowth.] Dana

I just got afew different herbs for yeast and I'll see what works. Some people report good success with OoO. Biotin worked well here unless the yeast was really bad, then I had to add GSE, but you can see if biotin alone is sufficient for you.
