Epicor question

Has anyone tried Epicor to raise sIgA in the gut? My DAN prescribed

it for my son because his immune levels were a little low in the gut.

I know low sIgA is part-and-parcel with a leaky gut, but I'm thinking

as the leaky gut heals, the sIgA levels 'should' increase on their

own. Am I correct to think this?

I've been hesitating using it because it is dried yeast fermentate. I

don't know if that actually increases yeast or not. Maybe it doesn't

increase yeast in a healthier gut but does in a leaky/yeasty gut? Any

thoughts about this and anyone know for sure whether it is SCD legal?

Thanks for any input!

Anissa
