Guest guest
Hello, Let me briefly re-introduce myself and my son. Matthias is 12 years old and will be entering junior high in september 2009. I am on the biomedical pathway with him since june 2007 and has made some clear improvements following the advice of my DAN. He is on MB12-shots, has been taking carnitine, COQ10, magnesium taurate, thryroid support and adrenal support supplements, enzymes, lysine, xtra cell remilyn and since a few months virastop. He progressed on all of these supplements but certainly on Virastop although my DAN is not quite convinced about him being a viral kid but I have a strong feeling he is. After almost 2 years : a) still bowel problems/coated tongue Language improved but receptive and expressive language do remain a problem c) low muscle tone (supplementation with carnitine did not gave much improvement), certainly in right hand (trouble with cutting meat with knife !!) d)swimming and gymnastics are seriously below level e)is almost never sick and also has social problems (keeping friendship) I do worry the most about his language when he goes to junior high school and he doesn't understand everything, things will get even more complicated for him. I really don't know if Valtrex/acyclovir can change this for the better. Do I really need to test titers first or could I go ahead without this ? If he wouldn't benefit from Valtrex/acyclovir, could this drug harm him in any way ?? Anyone good experience with LDM-100 for language issues ?(is a natural anti-viral ?) In the near future, I will have to make the necessary decesions regarding which school to go to and I want to try everything in the (bio)medical book (without harm of course) to get him on the right track. Can anyone share his/her experiences/advice with me please ? Thanks very, very much ! Ann

I used naturals. More info here http://www.danasview.net/issues.htm Dana
Guest guest
Dana, Thank you. He became gassy when he started taking enzymes and Virastop, not before this. I am increasing his yeast protocol right now, how long would this " being gassy " last, suppose this is a good thing, kind of die off ? Means that his gut is starting to heal ? Guest guest
> Dana, > Thank you. He became gassy when he started taking enzymes and > Virastop, not before this. Virastop helps eliminate viruses, and viral die off tends to cause a lot of yeast. And yeast can cause a lot of gas. >> I am increasing his yeast protocol right > now, how long would this " being gassy " last, suppose this is a good > thing, kind of die off ? Means that his gut is starting to heal ? If it is from the Virastop, it would mean the viruses were starting to leave. Which would be a good sign, altho might not be what is needed to heal the gut. Virastop also did not heal my son's immune system, it just helped eliminate the current viruses. It took high doses of vitamin A, vitamin C, and lysine to correct his immune system.
