My son had the same coughs for month and months until we did IgG testing for

food sensitivities and took him off all foods he was sensitive to...then the

coughs went away.

Check the label of the probiotics. Some you give on an empty stomach, others

you give with food.

As a general rule, store enzymes at room temperature. Keeping them in the

refrigerator can cause condensation, which will reduce their effectiveness.

This was a yeast symptom at my house. Might also be related to food intolerance

issues.

You can add probiotic to your enzyme regiment. Check the label on different

products on when to give it. Enzymedica actually just release Digestgold plus

probiotic a few months ago, I love it! It meets GFCDF standards, however it is

not Scd legal. You should take it at the first bite of food at any time of day.

Digest Gold will help some of the digestion of Gluten. The best would be

GlutenEase. That will help with digesting Gluten and trace amounts of Casein.

A GFCF diet is recommended in combination with GletenEase to help combat cross

contamination from other sources.

You can also take GlutenEase and Digestgold with or without a probiotic at the

same time. I would ease into it though, it might be too much all at once.

Enzymes do not need to be refrigerated.

My son had a reoccurring cough/throat clearing that his pediatrician said was

not medical, but a " habit. " I think he meant " tick " and I think my son may have

had some PANDAS going on. It lasted two years. It went away when I broke down

and bought an air filter for his bedroom, but I'm really not sure the air filter

had anything to do with it.

I have never given OLE to my child.

How much to give a 10 yr old (about 35kg) ?

Can I give together with probiotics and enzymes ? Or do I need to space out the

timing ? On empty stomach or with food ?

And side effects of OLE to watch for ?

Not sure specifically, because I used OLE for bad bacteria [strep] and viruses.

I gave it for two years. I don't know at what point the strep was gone.

I started with 250mg and worked up from there.

At least 2 hours apart from probiotics. You can give it with enzymes.

Also give at least 2 hours apart from the amino acids glycine, lysine,

histadine, and cysteine (including n-acetyl-l-cysteine).
