I would say the putting his hand down his band, chewing, sounds like yeast.

When we did enzymes, our first thing to do, my son slept through the night even

with thunderstorms. Chewing was less. I still think with night waking, looking

into parasites too.

I'd try the Houston Chewables or powder. Ask for samples to see what he'll

take.

Enzymes and MB12

Hi,

My 37 lb 2 year old is doing the SCD diet. I would like to have him

take enzymes. I was considering Tri-enzyme (sp). Could anyone suggest

one? There seem to be so many out there.

Also, I'm also giving him a MB12 oral vitamin. His current dose is 500

mcg a day with carnitine, a multivitamin, fish oil, and dmg. He also

gets a probiotic later in the day.

He is making great progress with cognition and eye contact. He

developed a few side effect like putting his hands down his pants,

mouthing plastic, and waking up at night. I found out that these are

actually positive-negative effects, but means that nerves are waking up!

I just wanted to make sure that the 500 mcg daily dose is ok for him.

Thanks so much!

I used HNI enzymes with much success, so I would recommend the TriEnza.

At my house, they meant yeast overgrowth. Try increasing the yeast

protocol, then you might see the positives without the negatives.

Hi ,

DigestGold is an amazing product that has helped many families. It's

the number one selling digestive enzyme. Enzymedica also just came

out with a new product called DigestBasic. It's a good starter enzyme

in that it has low amounts of protease. But many parents have seen

that working your way up to DigestGold produces the best results. You

could always just give smaller amounts of DigestGold and work your

way up to a full capsule. If you would any samples or literature just

let me know. Enzymedica does not currently have samples of

DigestBasic but DigestGold samples are in stock. Please feel free to

ask me any questions.
