Guest guest
Enhansa is also anti-viral, so it could essentially create yeast before it helps get rid of it. (This is what we saw happen here with our son.) From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of jrussell82002 Sent: Thursday, September 10, 2009 11:22 AM Subject: Finished fluconazole and now yeast back We did a three week course of fluconazole and were left with just two fantastic children. Things were great. At that time we started Enhansa, restarted biotin and started a couple new things as well (l-carnitine and P-5-P). It is now three weeks later and it appears the yeast is back. Laughing at night, non-compliant, picking at lips. It could be other things, but it seems like yeast. Do any of the new things increase yeast? Does this mean a longer course of fluconazole was required? Any ideas?
Guest guest
What is the dosage your son takes? My son is now on Day 90 of his antifungal treatment and our DAN's approach is to keep going and doing regular liver function tests to check livers are OK. L-carnitine in my house brought about yeast problems. The Ehansa could also cause bad beahaviour due to killing yeast / bacteria imbalances, die-off. But those symptoms you described are the same for mine for yeast flares in my son. You definitely need to put back antifungal regime - try something natural if worried about drugs. I tried Oil of oregano - very strong and potent and seems to work, but administration could be difficult if your kids don't swallow pills. Guest guest
ps no; none of those things create Yeast(Candidas Albican); however... I recently read reports; Some children do not tolerate P5P; I think P5P is a special form of Vitamin B6? I would try the reg. B6; as well; > > We did a three week course of fluconazole and were left with just two fantastic children. Guest guest
I have been told that one should limit carbohydrate intake during a yeast protocol. Maybe you could consider what he's been eating?? Just a thought. Rhonda > > We did a three week course of fluconazole and were left with just two fantastic children. Quite a few parents are reporting that Enhansa actually *increases* yeast, instead of controlling it. > It is now three weeks later and it appears the yeast is back. Guest guest
We are off Nystatin and using " yeast aid " from kirkman. So far so good. My DAN doc recommended it. > > We did a three week course of fluconazole and were left with just two > fantastic children.
