Guest guest
If this is very recent, as in just beginning with spring, could it be allergies? My allergies are worst in my eyes. Since he also has a headache, could he have a sinus infection? That has also made my eyes feel strange. -Sierra http://grainfreefoodie.blogspot.com/ > > I have been trying to rid my son of tics, and I am trying to address yeast. He has had a headache and his eyes actually look droopy. All of his complaints seem to be in the head and eye area, and he just has no energy anymore. What do you think it could be? > > He takes enzymes and probiotics. Nothing else right now. > > pv >
Guest guest
My son was doing rather well, until the pollens. Now he feels like having a cold: red eyes, running nose and a huge increase of verbal and vocal tics. He suddenly suffers from anxiety as well, but twice a day inositol 500 mg helps a lot! It's every year like this; although it gets worse evry year..I know it will last till june, and then it gets better. Maybe indeed your son is allergic to pollens as well? Nicoline > > > > I have been trying to rid my son of tics, and I am trying to address yeast. Guest guest
possibly an overload of enzymes or probiotics or a probiotic formuila with too many types of probiotic; is he taking a multivitamin? find one with Vit. B6 for the tics and Choline for the droopy eyes; Vitamin C because Vitamin C is good for the eye and nose; htp anna--- the best source of Choline is Soymilk 1 cup per day for 30 days imo;a. Guest guest
Nicoline, If your son gets an increase in tics and anxiety when having seasonal allergies, and inositol helps, then he has high histamine (called Histadelia). My NT son (and I) have this. It can be treated very well with a few more things in addition to the inositol. It is important to treat it because exposure to chronically high histamine levels is not good for the central nervous system, causes damage. You can treat by adding in more supplements, including vitamin C, calcium, and especially SAM-e, also by eating a low-histamine diet, and ultimately addressing gut dysbiosis (some bad bacteria produce histamine in your body and can be the cause of all of this). My family responded very well to supps and diet, but we are doing enev better now on the SCD. This spring our sypmtoms are much better , for the first time (they have always gotten worse from year to year). You can e-mail me if you want more info. This is very treatable. -Sierra > > My son was doing rather well, until the pollens. Now he feels like having a cold: red eyes, running nose and a huge increase of verbal and vocal tics. Guest guest
Hi Sierra, I will certainly add the calcium and SAMe. Vitamin C he already gets 2 x day 1500mg. Which form of calcium do you use?
